Rick Klimek opened Maple Bay Get-a-Way in 1984 to offer guests the finest in private home accommodations right in the heart of the Chautauqua-Allegheny Region. Imagine walking out your back door and finding yourself just steps away from the shore of Lake Chautauqua. Sit back on the deck or under the covered porch to enjoy the view. If the weather is a little cool, there is a sunroom to relax in. Or sit by a roaring fire in the backyard by the lake. There is a boat dock for your use in case you bring or rent a boat while you are there. Maple Bay Get-a-Way also has games and activites for all ages. We have basketball, corn hole, ping pong, darts and wall hooky! The three bedroom home is completely furnished with all of the amenities you would expect in a luxury vacation home. The two upper bedrooms have huge, panoramic windows offering a spectacular view of the sunrise! Each of the bedrooms has a flat-panel TV and the living room has a 42" flat- panel HDTV with cable and Blu-Ray player. Free WiFi is also available The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, disposal and dishwasher to make meal preparation a breeze. For outdoor cookouts, a propane grill is also provided. For your convenience, there is a washer and dryer and a two car attached garage. Two full baths will ease congestion in the mornings! Once you visit Maple Bay Get-a-Way, you are sure to come back summer after summer! Maple Bay Get-a-Way is available for rental by the week during the peak summer (Sunday through Sunday). During the early and late season (May, early June, September and October) it is available for shorter stays with a two-night minimum. Lovely setting, beautiful views of Chautauqua Lake. Centrally located. Host is aware of lack of cleanliness and addressing the issue so I wouldn't let that stop me from renting again. Host very quick to respond to all communication.

Came to the property for a long weekend fishing trip for Muskie. Didn’t catch any fish but the property was beautiful and ended up certainly being the highlight of the trip. Definitely saving this property for future adventures!

Loved the location and access to lake. House in poor repair. Not clean, water damaged floor, not good for kids who crawl, decking needs replaced, windows need repaired, needs dehumidified, dock needs leveled, no screen for basketball hoop has ever been seen by neighbors. Glad it was only a 4 night stay. Good thing was the view and fishing.
