Description of the Villa: Share of an ancient farmhouse, whose first foundations date back to the 17th century. Recently completely restored, it is independent and surrounded by centuries-old pine and cypress trees which adorn a large adjoining partly terraced garden. It is located on the hills surrounding Florence and Montespertoli is the city of Chianti wine. It has a wonderful view upon the vineyards and olive-trees hills. This Tuscan villa is disposed on 2 floors and its extension is approximately 250 m². There is a terrace-solarium with covered loggia and portico and 5000 m² of terraced garden, and 4 shaded car parkings.
Distances are: 2 miles from Montespertoli with any kind of shops, banks, post office. It is 12 miles from Florence, 16 miles from S.Gimignano, 25 miles from Siena, 40 miles from Pisa.
House distribution and facilities: Ground floor: entrance-hall, large living/dining area with fireplace and TV, passage-way tea-room, kitchen (oven, freezer and dishwasher), WC outside: large equipped terrace (300 m²). A bathroom os at client's disposal. First floor: 3 double bedrooms, 2 twin-bedded rooms, hall, 3 bathrooms with shower, 1 bathroom-hall with shower and tub. Large terraced park/garden around the property, parking in the property. Telephone, iron and wash-machine at disposal, swimming pool, external Jacuzzi, equipped area fitness, BBQ, free wireless Internet access, etc.
Indoor: It accommodates 12 people. The number of bedrooms: 5. Number of beds: 10. Number of bathrooms: 5. Bedrooms – bathrooms: 3 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms on the first floor. The bathroom-hall is elegantly furnished in pink colours with English porcelain. The kitchen - living room is on the ground floor, where we can also find the entrance hall, a large living/dining area with fireplace in French red marble. On this floor we also find the kitchen, fully equipped with all the comforts such as dishwasher, microwave-oven, oven, etc. On the first floor, we find a pretty living/ reading room. Television, washing machine and iron are at disposal.

We stayed as a family ( 6 adults & 5 children from 16 to 8 years old)
We loved the villa , gardens & wonderful pool , with views you dream of looking over the Tuscan vineyards.
Silvio is delightful man who speaks very good English.
Our suggestion would be a gas BBQ it would help with cooking.

Very clean. Silvio, the owner, was always available and attended to our every need. Speaks English and communicates well. Also, provided excellent chef's dinners at the villa with a specially tailored menu based on our needs. Amenities available need to be updated, e.g., hot tub does not work and sleeps 11 (not 12). Overall, great experience and we'd do it again here.

Nestled in the hills of Tuscany, this property is an idyllic location. Only a 30 min drive from Florence, it offered such a welcome respite from the bustle of sightseeing. We were there (7 adults, 1 child) in July 2022 in the midst of a heat wave and the pool was also a treat. Our host Silvio was always available and helped to find a chef who provided two wonderful meals prepared in Tuscan tradition. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay and would recommend to any age group.

Owner Silvio Balsamo was attentive and helpful. My family of seven enjoyed the beautiful pool and grounds. The nearby town of Montespertoli was charming and met our needs. If you are looking for a luxury villa stay however, this is not the place for you. It is rustic and had a couple of safety issues. The worst part to me were the bug bites we got in our beds.
