Lovely owner Theodore who communicates on WhatsApp really well, can meet you to ensure you find the apartment and on hand to be helpful. Location is great for ferries and short walk into historic old town. Apartment is super clean and is thoughtfully equipped. Even a welcome present!
We had the small ground floor apartment, which is the unmodernised flat which is well maintained but really needs upgrading to match the other apartments. I guess it’s cheaper but just to be aware.

Location was ideal for walking in to town and a lovely place to stay for a night. Also, very close to the airport.
We were greeted with a miniature drink, two shot glasses, nougat and bottled water, which was a thoughtful touch.
Clean towels provided and a various choice of toiletries, if needed.
A private balcony which offers a cool start to the day and then attracts vibrant sunshine in the afternoon/evening.
Owner knocked on the door at 10:55am but we weren’t due to leave until 11:00am. Although we were ready to leave at that point, it felt a bit obtrusive. He offered us 5 more minutes, which we took.
Also opposite a building site but obviously, this will only last as long as it takes to build a new property.
No view from the balcony but we knew this when we booked the apartment.

It would be hard to find but the owner was standing outside on the street, waiting for me. Very good phone contact.
It is just an old building, but kept clean and the owner is very helpful.
