About this apartment rental
"OTTO" upstairs: approx. 51 sqm, balcony in front of the living room, daylight shower room, bedroom with single beds as a double bed, hallway and open living / kitchen area, separate entrance via external stairs. Functional sofa in the living room, TV and WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen including freezer and microwave, iron and top loading washing machine.

The house was built in 1953 as a solid single-family house on a plot of land measuring just under 1200 square meters and was redesigned and completely renovated from autumn 2015 to March 2017.
The result is two comfortable apartments, a spacious courtyard and a large, natural garden. Out of consideration for other holiday guests, pets and smoking are not allowed in the apartments. Haus Sauer is located on the outskirts. The Rheinhessen cultural landscape with its extensive arable land and vineyards awaits you on the doorstep. The nearby forest, wonderful wines and our sunny and low-precipitation region are worth discovering.
The A61 and A63 motorway connections are around 7 km away, as is the district town of Alzey. After 11 km you will reach the "Little Residence" Kirchheimbolanden, the popular Donnersberg after approx. 17 km, the spa town Bad Kreuznach after approx. 25 km, the regional capital and Gutenberg city of Mainz and the Nibelungen city of Worms after approx. 36 km.
Here in Rheinhessische Schweiz you will find small, fine sights, an open and varied landscape and many festivals related to wine. Especially in autumn, when the vineyards and forest show their colorful leaves.
By the way: A good drop from the winegrower, whether wine, sparkling wine or grape juice, is only a few steps away from the Haus Sauer.

Out of consideration for subsequent guests, smoking and pets are not allowed in the apartments. They are welcome to stay in the yard and in the garden.

Here you will find what is not necessarily typical of Rheinhessen: the direct connection to the forest. Only about 2 km separate you from the largest contiguous forest area in Rheinhessen, the state forest Vorholz.
Our region, the Rheinhessische Schweiz, is a good refuge for many activities and regional enjoyment. Cyclists and mountain bikers, hikers, cultural travelers and gourmets feel at home here.
From spring to late autumn, we organize colorful festivals on the subject of wine in Rheinhessen. Lace up hiking boots, pack a rucksack or cooler bag and explore the new surroundings with day trips. Wine tastings with visits to wine shops and winegrowers, guided hiking tours, leisure facilities and various sights also invite you.
Alzey - with the only privately run boulevard theater in Rhineland-Palatinate, Bad-Kreuznach - with salt pans and thermal baths, Kirchheimbolanden - with castle park and wedding tower ... the small city selection in close proximity. And of course Mainz, Worms, Oppenheim. With museums, historical buildings, parks, leisure and wellness offers, all are always worth a visit.

A63: after the Alzeyer junction, take the Erbes-Büdesheim exit and follow the L409 into Erbes-Büdesheim. At the crossroads in the town center, turn left and reach your accommodation in Offenheim after 3 km.
A61: after the Alzeyer junction, take the Alzey exit, cross the city towards the southwest and follow the L406. In the middle of the Alzey-Weinheim district, turn left. Your accommodation in Offenheim is 2.5 km away.

Die Ferienwohnung erfüllte unsere Vorstellungen. Die Schlüsselübergabe war unkompliziert, die Vorabsprachen informativ und zielführend. In der Ferienwohnung wurden Informationsmaterialien, Karten etc.
bereitgestellt. Über die Umgebung gab es in einem ausliegenden Hefter ausreichend Informationen bis hin zu Geschäften und deren Öffnungszeiten. In persönlichen Gesprächen mit den Vermietern erhielten wir weitere Hinweise auf Sehenswertes der Umgebung. Es wird im Gartenbereich die Möglichkeit angeboten, sich zu entspannen, was uns wegen anhaltenden Regenwetters leider verwehrt blieb - persönliches Pech. Auf Grund der Nähe zur Autobahn sind viele interessante Tagestouren in die nähere oder etwas weitere Umgebung schnell möglich.
Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich bei der Familie Stock für ihre Gastfreundlichkeit und die Vermietung der schönen Ferienwohnung.
