Hotel - Teranea City Hvar

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were incredible. As soon as we arrived we were greeted and shown the option of a couple of rooms as the hotel wasn’t completely full. It was so kind of them to give us the option. When we booked there weren’t many hotels/apartments in Hvar with a pool so this is why we booked it. The pool area was gorgeous and we loved sitting by the pool. The hotel manager came round and asked if we would like a drink on the house while we were at the pool. They went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble. They have a taxi service on site to pick you up or take you to town for a reasonable price which is great. The room was spacious and had a mini fridge and safe. The breakfast was great and set us up well for our days in Hvar. We would not hesitate to book again.

The man running the hotel was so helpful and lovely - we were unsure about the noise levels of our initial room and he happily moved us and helped us with our bags. It was a lovely and clean property, fresh towels daily. Staff were so nice and friendly, always smiling and happy to help. Good location, out of town enough for it to be quiet, but close enough to walk in and enjoy.

Nothing it was great

The owner and staff highly recommended for their warmth. Hotel is very clean, hygienic and well.made. The hotel is great combination of clean and great value for money.. when you come to islands like this you want to go to beach but back hotel you want to rest....this is the perfect place.. among the things I really liked is no hassle of carrying keys and cards...it has digital locks...

We had a comfortable stay at Hotel Teranea. The rooms are nicely decorated and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay.

The hotel was not what we expected from the photos. Breakfast was below average with the hot food minimal and it feeling a little like a school canteen. However, the experience that ruined it for us was an encounter with a rude member of staff who tutted, shook her head and then laughed at us when we asked if there was anywhere to shower after checkout, as we had a long journey ahead of us that evening. This made us feel very uncomfortable after paying for a three night stay and never asking for anything else, so unfortunately this tainted our experience (the guy however who checked us in was lovely and we could not fault him). Overall, in our opinion this is more like a three star hotel.
