We loved the location and the size.of the property.
We had a couple of niggly issues with the property which I discussed with the property management team.

Great Location in the centre of York. A stones throw from the Shambles.
Lots of steps to carry you bag up.

The proximity to the shambles and the Christmas markets was unbeatable! We loved how we could just simply step outside the front door and everything was a within five minute walk.
This place had everything we needed to cook for ourselves and be comfortable (including a combined clothes washer/ dryer).
Lovely and warm with a retro fitted 2nd glaze over the windows.
Comfortable beds, lots of bedrooms and lots of bathrooms for our family of 5 to choose from.
Free Wi-Fi and access to Netflix was fantastic
It would be very important to note that this is not a ground floor dwelling. So suitcases must be carted up the stairs to the 1st floor apartment.
Earplugs are essential! While the location was fantastic for exploring the town,- unfortunately there was a nightclub nearby that went through till 3 am most mornings.
Also delivery vans would come from 7:30 am to deliver things to the local shops which was very noisy.
Given that it was Christmas time they were many many fairy lights out and about -which is wonderful when you’re out walking - but not so good when you’re trying to sleep. So pack an eye mask.

The location was excellent.
The property wasn’t cleaned very well. Dust on the skirtings. Bathrooms dirty,property had a problem with flies! There was a tin of fly spray so this must be an ongoing problem.
