About this house rental
Refurbished in 2022, this spacious and comfortable house sleeps up to 6 people and is situated within a five minute walk of the beach of Perros-Guirec on Brittany's Pink Granite Coast. All of the 3 upstairs bedrooms have sea-views and both reception rooms have doors opening onto the garden with its beautiful view of the sea and beach. The kitchen and breakfast bar were completely refurbished in Spring 2022. The main reception which incorporates the kitchen and dining area has a pleasant open-plan aspect while the second room has comfy sofas, a charming stone fireplace and shelves full of books and games. The house is very well appointed and with its excellent location should provide everything you need for a perfect family holiday. Linen, towels, cleaning and some logs are included in the price. As we live in Scotland, our house is managed by a local agent.
Local Activities: The beach next to the house offers water sport activities such as windsurfing, sailing and kayak hire. There are also tennis courts next to the beach and during July and August there is a children's beach club and trampolines. The area has many lovely coastal walks to enjoy and for golfing enthusiasts there is an 18 hole course within a 10 minute drive. The location is particularly scenic and a good way to appreciate the spectacular coastline is by taking a boat trip around the coast and islands.
Children's Activities: There are plenty of activities to keep the children amused if you fancy a change from the beach. At Tregastel, there is an indoor swimming pool and an aquarium. Nearby at Pleumeur-Bodou, there is a Gallic themed village with a boating pond, many unusual attractions for children and a covered restaurant. The same area also boasts a planetarium which has commentaries in English during the summer months.

The house was clean, comfortable, well equipped, spacious with lovely outdoor space and a fantastic view. The walk to town was a bit of a challenge for older folks like us, but younger people would have no problem.

Wir waren als zwei Paare dort. Es war alles wie beschrieben. Die Einrichtung ist ehr schön. Da wir schon öfter in Perros waren, haben wir keine großen Touren gemacht, sondern uns viel im Haus aufgehalten. Und da zeigte sich der wahre Wert des großen Hauses. Gemütliches Wohnzimmer für geselliges Beisammensitzen und genügend Platz, um sich zurückzuziehen und ein Buch zu lesen.
Wir waren die ersten, die die nagelneue moderne offene Küche einweihen durften, alles vom Feinsten. Alle vorherigen negativen Kommentare könnt ihr vergessen!
Wir haben beschlossen, uns zum nächste Familientreffen wieder hier einzumieten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das Haus und der Garten haben einen wundervollen Blick auf die Bucht, wie auf den Fotos. Die Zimmer sind angenehm, die Architektur zum Wohlfühlen, aber die Küche ist in einem stark renovierungsbedürftigen Zustand. Die Elektrogeräte haben funktioniert, aber wir mussten am Anfang des Urlaubs erstmal ein paar Schränke und Schubladen ausräumen und säubern um in diesen das Geschirr und die Küchenutensilien zu räumen, die wir gespült hatten und die benutzt werden konnten. Die Fenster im Haus sind ebenfalls renovierungsbedürftig. Die Agentin vor Ort hat sich gut um alle Reparaturen gekümmert. Muffig war es nicht. Eigentlich ist es ein tolles Haus und wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in dieser interessanten Region, aber für den Preis sollte es besser Instand gehalten sein.
