Wow, what a place to stay!
An old priory that has been converted and upgraded into the most stunning place to stay. A real mixture of old and new. I can't even begin to describe how beautifully this place has been renovated. It's a big building, with a huge garden.
The rooms are stunningly decorated with antique furniture, yet contemporary in standards. The bathroom was incredible - totally modern, yet tastefully done to fit in with the property. The bed was really comfortable and the village is totally peaceful during the night.
Immaculately clean throughout the whole property.
Plenty of parking. We were invited to park our motorbikes under cover within the walled grounds, which was very kind of the hosts.
Take the time to look at all the things in the property; it's truly amazing. One of the best places I have ever stayed.
The hosts were amazingly hospitable, giving us a tour of the place, with a glass of Chablis too! They spent about an hour telling us all sorts of things; it was a great experience.
Breakfast was wonderful, and in a stunning room with a grand table. What a wonderful experience!
There is a very nice restaurant opposite - well worth having a meal in there, and the town is beautiful. I want to come back and explore it, as I didn't have time on my visit. I'll definitely be staying again.
If you find anything even remotely small to dislike, then there is no pleasing you!!!!!!

Great location
Lighting and furnishings in the bedroom were heavy and it made the room very dark - eg hard to read book at night. Also only one chair to sit on in the room even though we were a couple & no coffee making facilities. Breakfast with everyone sitting at single as long trestle table with all other residents was awkward/ would have preferred no breakfast as an option in price.
