About this farm stay rental
Our traditional Slovenian farmhouse built in 1850 and refurbished in 2009 is set off a quiet country road with spectacular views of the Julian Alps, just 4km from Tolmin, in the beautiful Soca Valley. The house has a large parking area to the front. To the rear is a covered terrace area with BBQ facilities and patio table and chairs to seat eight. Behind the house is a forest with numerous trails for walking. The house is arranged over three levels: The first floor has a fully equipped kitchen and living and dining space; the second floor has a large double bedroom and bathroom with bathtub/shower and washing machine; the third floor has a large double bedroom with exposed stone work, single bedroom and a bathroom. There is a sofa bed that can be used in one of the double bedrooms (Sleeps max. 6 people). Facilities include: TV , Internet

The house was clean and comfortable and the caretakers were awesome. It is located in a spectacular part of Slovenia near the mountains. You have to get used to driving the roads because there aren’t very many straight sections. Čigijn is a charming village and the restaurant in town is excellent.

We had a good time in Slovenia, loved the many opportunities to enjoy the Soca river.
The house is lovely and the view very nice. We missed a garden or terrace to sit outside, but that was not too big a problem.

Lovely old house with beautifully renovated large rooms. Set on a hill at the back of the village overlooking the countryside beyond. Not much outdoor space, but a nice seating area at the front & rear of the house for outdoor dining, etc.
Great location for exploring the Soča valley, with pleanty of local walks & river swimming opportunities.
