A very quiet location with wonderful views from all of the windows. Greeted by sheep in the morning. The owner kindly left lots of food as a welcome. Thank you to Michael.
It would be helpful to have a house manual to explain a few things atbout the house e.g. the hot water system and Internet. We never did get the Internet working. There seemed to be a code in the house but no name for the network. We contacted Sykes who manage the property and they told us to phone the owner. Not helpful when there is no mobile coverage there. !!!

Very clean, comfortable, four bedroom house. It is located in a beautiful setting among the Mayo mountains. Very good for cyclists, hill walkers and star gazing, as it is well away from town lighting. The setting is well away from the bigger towns, but there is a shop within easy walking distance, Everything Mayo has to offer is within an hour's drive. The hosts provided a couple of baskets of turf, complimentary. This was appreciated.
There were some queries regarding house rules. But they were resolved following consultation with the property owner and the booking agent. Best to ring ahead to check with the owner in advance. There is only one bathroom. But this was adequate for our group.
