The villa was immaculate. It was well laid out and suited our requirements very well. The pool was first class. The outside seating areas were really nice. The position of the villa was good- it was a straight road to Zadar, a great little city.The hosts were very friendly and helpful and we were brought home produced tomatoes, peppers and olive oil.

Beautiful Villa, spotlessly clean with a lovely pool that seems bigger than the stated size. Great location that is out of the way enough to be quiet but close enough to amenities to be convenient (local Co op type shops and bakery 3 mins away, supermarket 10 mins and coast 15 mins). Generous and helpful hosts live in next house along but are very discreet. Croatian food, wine and beer all lovely and reasonably priced. I sound like a tour guide (though can assure you I am definitely not) but I can thoroughly recommend Villa Marija.

We had a wonderful ten days staying at Villa Marija. The villa is well located between Zadar to the south and the Paklenica national park to the north. Poličnik itself is quiet but there are two small supermarkets and a pharmacy within walking distance.
The surrounding area is full of lovely restaurants and lots of interesting places to visit. We recommend doing a guided tour around Zadar old town, visiting the national park, the castle at Novigrad and the sea organ in Zadar.
The villa was very well equipped with everything you would want from a holiday home. The pool and outdoor area are the real gem of the property.
Marija and her husband were very welcoming hosts. We can’t recommend this property highly enough!
