About this cottage rental
At the cottage Ker Héol (house of the sun in Breton) you will be charmed by the dining area and outdoor relaxation, a real secret spot where nature is queen. As soon as you enter the interior you will be attracted by the lounge bathed in light thanks to the large glass roof that invites you to read and contemplate nature. The dining room, convivial and furnished in solid wood, promises nice discussions around meals concocted in the vast adjoining and fully equipped kitchen. For your comfort you will find a bathroom and a toilet on the ground floor. Upstairs you will find the magnificent glass roof in a room composed of two beds of 90 twin and a lounge area and reading cocooning.
The second bedroom equipped with a bed 2 people and a daybed, bright thanks to its two skylights has a direct access to the bathroom.
Kerguz, small Breton manor house of the XVth in the heart of the Bay of Morlaix, described as one of the most beautiful bays, between the Abers country and the pink granite coast will allow you to discover the beauty of the landscapes and the rich historical heritage from north Brittany.
In the countryside in a hilly landscape surrounded by meadows Kerguz is 2 km from the estuary of Penzé, small port tide, 6 km from the golf course and the beaches of Carantec facing the bull castle which was in 1669 the " winter house "of his governor.
A farmhouse has been restored into two houses. These cottages have conquered those who stopped there and often returned in search of the charm of the place and silence gaily disturbed by the song of birds and the soft murmur of the waterfall and sources that feed the pond.
the gardens are rich with several emblematic regional species (camellias, rhododendrons, azaleas, hydrangeas, roses, succulent exotic plants and cacti).

Very lovely place. The host family was super friendly and even picked us up from the station in Morlaix in the middle of the night. The garden is a paradise and the whole place is very nice and super quiet. The children also loved to interact with the animals (dog and cats). Big recommendation for families.

A very beautiful, peaceful, private and spacious apartment as part of a Manoir and owners property. Gorgeous gardens! Beautiful, friendly, helpful, yet discreet owners. Home grown fruit. Would highly recommend, but still a bit bewildered about paying for electricity and paying for water consumption (after we thought we paid a reasonable rent, yes we understood and read the terms and conditions ) but, when water is running freely down the driveway 24/7… these days and particularly with other companies now with all included, I feel VRBO terms and conditions are a bit outdated. Just being honest. Kerguz Manoir just beautiful! Would recommend and yes, would stay again. 👍❤️

Nous avons passé un moment des plus merveilleux dans cette belle maison, avec de magnifiques jardins et des hôtes chaleureux et serviables. Les jardins, le chant des oiseaux, la paix et le calme ont tous été profondément appréciés. Nous sommes très reconnaissants à nos aimables hôtes qui ont rendu notre séjour si agréable.

Histor. Herrenhaus mit toller, sehr gepflegter Gartenanlage, viel Platz um die Ferienwohnung herum zum draußen sein. Sehr nette und herzliche Gastgeber, die uns mit Obst aus dem eigenen Garten versorgt haben und jederzeit ansprechbar waren für Fragen und Tipps für Ausflüge. Weg zum nächsten Strand in Carantec ca. 10 bis 15 min mit dem Auto. Viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen, vielen Dank!
