Chalet Grouse offers all seasons luxury at Ayer, near Zinal, St Luc, Grimentz in Val d'Anniviers, Switzerland, with stunning views of the mountains above the resorts of Grimentz and Zinal.
Guests at Chalet Grouse get six free Anniviers Liberté Pass (valid summer only).
Accommodation for ten guests. Parking for two cars. Larger parties may wish to also rent our neighbouring sister property, Chalet Cuckoo (sleeps up to five)
Minimum stay 5 nights. Arrival days: Sunday, Monday or Tuesday (except Christmas and New Year).
Underfloor heating on all floors.

Our family has rented homes across Europe and North America for decades, and Chalet Grouse stands out as one of the very best. Spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained and equipped (including all cookware and linens), it offered plenty of room for our group of four adults (plus dogs) to relax and reconnect. Every amenity we needed was there, including games and movies provided by the thoughtful and communicative host. The views from every window were breathtaking, and we especially loved dining and lounging on the balconies overlooking the garden. The location is exceptional, just steps from peaceful woodland paths, streams, and alpine vistas, and a short drive to cable cars and scenic mountain adventures. Ayer, in the Val d’Anniviers, is picture-perfect. We visited in summer but agreed it would be a wonderful winter destination too, with ski resorts and cross-country trails nearby. The host was kind, responsive, and helpful throughout, even sharing a local pass that offered great savings. We wholeheartedly recommend Chalet Grouse and hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Every October we go one week to Switzerland to hike. This year we went to Chalet Grouse and we loved it! It is a luxurious chalet. Fully equipped for a big group. It also has more than enough room for ten people.
We loved the valley as well. It has plenty perfectly maintained hiking trails and the views are amazing. Also from the balcony of the chalet you can enjoy one of the perfect views the valley has to offer!

We had the most wonderful week at Chalet Grouse. The house is beautiful and has everything you could wish for. Separate bathrooms to each of the bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.
We spent a great holiday there with six adults and two small children. We went on several stunning hikes, one can start walking straight from the chalet or make the short drive to Zinal or Grimentz and start from there. It's a hiking paradise! Probably winter isn't bad either...(-;
The views from the balconies are fantastic. One has sun basically all day and we very much enjoyed sitting in the evening sun after a nice hike. Very relaxing! A perfect place, highly recommendable!
