About this apartment rental
This delightful apartment is situated on the first floor (accessed by a staircase), featuring stunning views of the surrounding country hills and the famous Pack Horse bridge. The large lounge features double aspect views, two large comfortable sofas, a small table with chairs overlooking the river below and the hills above, a heater and large television. The lounge opens out onto a private balcony overlooking the famous Pack Horse bridge, the lounge also features a dinning table, The main bedroom also overlooks the river, featuring a king-sized bed and its own television. There is also one also a further king size bedroom, . The bathroom (featuring a showerhead in the bath and heated towel-rail) can be accessed through the entrance hall. Finally, there is also a large kitchen, equipped with oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and a large dining table. We also have a separate laundry room.

This was a fabulous little find. Really unusual location packed with history. We went extremely lucky to find ourselves with a small balcony where we sat listening to the little river and enjoying the peace and history of the location.. Paul greeted us and showed us our apartment. Beautifully and tastefully decorated. The bonus for our arrival was a cream tea!! Really thoughtful and beautifully presented. It was very quiet, and car park was roomy. Probably one of the best places we ever stayed... Thanks guys

I recently stayed at the Pavk Horse for four nights.
Upon arrival, the property looks stunning, set right beside an ancient footbridge over a pretty little stream.
Inside the property is just as impressive as the outside and is all finished to a high quality. The lounge has ample room with 2 comfortable sofas and a dining table with a large smart YV. The lounge also has access to the balcony. The balcony overlooks the bridge and stream and is a great place to have breakfast or just sit and watch the world go by as the sun goes down.
The bedrooms are both a fair size with big double beds, ample storage and large TVs. The bed I used was very comfortable and I had no problem sleeping all the time I was there.
There is also a well finished bathroom with a shower and a small kitchen with all the amenities you could need for your stay.
Wifi was accessible throughout the property and I had no problems connecting and it was easily good enough to stream netflix, etc.
There's ample parking on site, but I have to say it felt a bit tight getting under the building to it at first.
The hosts, Paul and Will were really friendly and approachable. When I arrived I was greeted by Paul and he showed me round the property and explained how everything worked. Paul also told me about the village and local area, where to eat, shop, etc.
Exmoor itself is a lovely part of the country with some amazing countryside and little towns. I'd happily stay at the Pack Horse again.

Fantastic holiday base, picturesque village with scenic walks. Accommodation and setting exceeded our expectations. All our family enjoyed our holiday at The Pack Horse and hope to return.

This property is very comfortable and attractive. It was well maintained, very clean and accommodated 5 people easily with 2 large comfortable sofas, and plenty of seating and equipment for dining. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept much better than usual which was also due to the tinkly sound of the stream outside the bedroom window. The location and views are to die for and we felt very lucky to have found it. It was also a bonus not to have to drive down miles of single track roads, as it was very easy to get to.
