Beautiful Lucchese apartment with stunning views from the main terrace over the ancient rooftops of the Old Town, and beyond to the beautiful Lucca hills and Garfagnana mountains. Situated inside the ancient walls and next to Via Fillungo, the main pedestrian and shopping street in Lucca, the apartment is ideally located. Stroll down to the piazza's for a leisurely breakfast and soak up some of the culture and history of this unique city, before heading out to the scenic Lucca hills for an afternoon hike. For those more adventurous, the Garfagnana mountains beckon, an area of outstanding natural beauty and no more than 40 minutes drive away. During the summer, the beaches of Viareggio can be reached in approximately 30 minutes. Or simply chill out and spend the day strolling the historic walls and streets, or shopping in the Old Town, where you will find fantastic variety and value. In the evening, superb restaurants and bars can be found within 5-10 minutes walking distance, where the joys of Italian cuisine and wine await.
The 3rd floor apartment has been tastefully decorated, comes fully equipped for extended visits, including air-conditioning, central heating, wi-fi, all modern kitchen appliances and super comfy beds! Consisting of two floors, the upper level contains a master bedroom and bathroom, living area and the spacious main terrace. The lower level has three bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and dining area and a balcony/utility room. Parking, taxi and public bus services are all available within 150 metres of the property in Piazza Santa Maria. We have an extensive collection of DVD's and books to chill out with and pets are welcome.

A wonderful stay in Lucca - the unit checked all the boxes - clean, well stocked, great location with accurate description and our host Cristiano was very helpful. He met us as planned -helped us with parking, areas to explore and any questions that might pop up - he was quick to respond to text messages. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

This apartment was perfect in every way. Everything was very clean. The apartment was well equipped, the WiFi reliable. The upstairs terrace in spectacular! The location of the apartment was perfect, a short walk to the Lucca Wall or into to town and easy drop off / pick up for our transportation. Cristiano was very thoughtful and thorough, his walkthrough of the apartment upon our arrival was perfect. Highly recommend this apartment!

Rita's place was a real home. Great furnishings, comfortable king bed, effective AC, all the kitchen equipment you'd need, great balcony view, nice wall art, and Christiano just across the landing to help us with every question. We loved the location very near the social wine bar gatherings, but far enough away for it to be a quite night at #66. Short walk to the spendid Antifeatro where we ate three dinners, and very close to a wall entrance where we rode bikes. Thank you Rita for creating such a lovely place for us!

The apartment is close to everything, fully equipped for a confortable stay.kitchen with all necessary to cook,also salt,sugar,spices,coffee,pasta,oil!amazing views of Lucca's towers and roofs,super comfy beds,2 big bathrooms with soap and towels,laundry full of every kind of detergent and soaps and washingmachine.very good the upstairs living room with view and a spacious terrace to have lunch in.Cristiano is a kind host,always available to help or give suggestions.thank you, we will return for sure!
