The beds were so comfortable!!
It looks a little run down but it still looked nice.

The staff were brilliant. The room was large and comfortable and was clean. It was close to the hospital, which is what we required and the area is lovely.
We couldn't get breakfast as the restaurant was closed for refurbishment. I didn't like there not being a shower cabinet as we are elderly and climbing in and out of a bath is not easy for us.

It's nice to visit one of these quirky hotels from the 70s I'd say - with a bit of character and offering good value accommodation.
Room heating system is a bit complex with no instructions. We had no heating one night, but the staff were helpful, bringing us a portable heater for the following day.

Room smelt awful, no heating in bathroom and so was absolutely Baltic at the beginning of January!!
