Easy to get to the Herculaneum ruins. Family room had two separate bedrooms with their own balconies, with a bathroom in the middle. All clean and tidy, nice decor!
Comfy beds, TVs worked great with all apps you could ever want.
Streets below were understandably very loud but you'd struggle to find anywhere that wasn't noisy !
Our host was quite late meeting us, but after he arrived he showed us around and gave us some tips for where to eat which was lovely

Location and easy parking. Good size room and bathroom so we were very comfortable. Great view overlooking Gardens from our room with Vesuvius in the background. Walking distance to Herculaneum and restaurants.
We had to make a phone call to get someone to come and let us into the accommodation so if you come after 7pm it might be a bit difficult. What happens if you don't have access to a phone - not all travellers have a local sim and depend on WiFi and WhatsApp to communicate. This would mean you cannot make a phone call to gain access to the accommodation

Very pleasant apartment rooms, spacious and clean. Good communication with hosts, who were very helpful. Property is a 10 minute or so walk to the ruins which were fabulous. Another 10 mins to the Scavi station. Some good restaurants in the town.
No problems with the rooms. Just to mention we walked to the coast (a few minutes down the road) and were shocked by the litter and unpleasantness of the area there. Don't bother walking down that way!

Big room, clean and quite
The hosts didn't specify directly about self check in and extra charges. It's written at the very end of the page on booking. When we contacted them for later check in, they replied us 10 days later when we couldn't cancel without penalty fees. When we tried to talk with them about it, they didn't even try to help us or understand.
