About this chalet rental
This beautiful detached chalet (Carinthian mountain hut) is located in the small mountain village of Prebl in the Lavanttal in Carinthia, between the well-known towns of Bad St. Leonhard and Wolfsberg and in the middle of the Klippitztörl sports and hiking area. Surrounded by forest and countryside, you live in the middle of nature, very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The chalet has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a sauna and can accommodate up to 12 people. The large living room has a sofa bed and a rustic dining table, the well-equipped kitchen with a sitting area is very spacious. Parking is available directly at the chalet.
Prebl is an ideal starting point for hikes in the entire Saualm and Zirbitz area. In total, over 500 kilometers of marked hiking trails in the Lavanttal invite you to numerous mountain tours and circular hiking trails. The nearest ski area is the Klippitztörl with a slope length of 28 km. In 35 minutes by car you can also reach the Weinebene ski area with 18 kilometers of slopes, or the small Koralpe ski area with 18 kilometers of slopes and 4 lifts. In about 1 hour you can reach the Tonnerhüttenlift / Zirbitzkogel family toboggan and ski area.
In summer, the St. Andräer See leisure center or the Stadionbad in Wolfsberg offer lots of swimming fun!
The last 3 km of access is a gravel road, but it is very passable. The owner will take you to your holiday address upon arrival. Simply enjoy a holiday in the beautiful Austrian nature here.

For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters

Fijn, ruim en schoon huis met drie badkamers en IR sauna. Huis ligt afgelegen in een mooi gebied waar je veel kunt wandelen. Twee leuke en voordelige skigebieden zijn op 30-40 minuten aan te rijden. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijke mensen die je naar het huis toe brengen want dat is lastig vindbaar voor de eerste keer. Het huis heeft een houtgestookte cv die prima werkt, maar wel wat aandacht nodig heeft. De palletkachel is volautomatisch en behoeft om de twee dagen bijgevuld te worden. De open tegelkachel in de woonkamar stook je pas als je er gebruik van gaat maken. Hout en palletstaafjes zijn bij de prijs inbegrepen , electriciteit ook. In de winter kan de weg ijzig zijn en zijn sneuuwkettingen noodzakelijk.

Wir waren 3 Familien (6 Erwachsene, 5 Kinder) in der Hütte und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Hütte war mit allen nötigen Dingen ausgestattet (Ofen, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, 2 Kühlschränke, Waschmaschine...). Jede Familie hat eines der drei Bäder belegt, dadurch kam man sich nicht in die Quere. Der Esstisch war groß genug für uns und meiner Meinung nach, hätten noch mindestens 2 Personen bequem Platz gehabt. Auch in der Küche ging das kochen zu dritte locker von der Hand, da sie dank des zweiten Esstisches sehr gräumig ist. Das Haus hat drei Ausgänge, somit konnte auch jede Familie einen Schlüssel mitnehmen und wir waren voneinander unabhängig bei Ausflügen. Die Anfahrt ist kurvig und die letzten km sind über eine Schotterstraße. Ich persönlich fand die Straße absolut okay für einen normalen Kombi, und auch bei Nieselregen war sie sehr gut befahrbar. Der Vermieter war immer super erreichbar und total hilfsbereit! Danke dafür!

Anfahrt hat super geklappt. Wir wurden vom Vermieter am vereinbarten Treffpunkt abgeholt und zur Unterkunft begleitet. Wir waren 12 Personen und hatten ausreichend Platz mit einem schönen Außensitzbereich. Natur pur. Erholung pur. Alles was wir wollten.

Ein ruhiges abgelegenes Häuschen auf der Alm mit viel Platz. Wir waren 11 Personen(6 Erwachsene & 5 Kinder im Alter 5-10 & 1 Hund). Wir genossen die Ruhe und die Stille. Die Heizung an sich ist manuell zu bedienen und auch zu befüllen (Holz&Pellets), und war vorerst etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig,da wir keine ordentliche Einschulung erhielten. Aber nach einem kurzen Telefonat mit dem Vermieter, kam er persönlich rauf und erklärte uns wie wir sie am besten zum laufen bringen-und es gelang uns dann auch ohne weitere Probleme.
Wer im Winter hier Urlaub machen möchte, empfehlen wir auf jeden Fall einen 4WD bzw. auf jeden Fall Schneeketten mit ins Gepäck zu nehmen.
Da unsere Anreise etwas verspätet war und alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten schon geschlossen waren, wurden wir auf Anfrage an den Vermieter sogar entgeltlich mit den wichtigsten Nahrungsmittel ausgestattet.
Fazit: Eine schöne Urlaubswoche ist vorbei und die Brentlhütte ist bestimmt auch im Sommer mal einen Trip wert!

PS: Der Kärtner Dialekt ist etwas fies, aber auch daran gewöhnt man sich und versteht dann doch relativ schnell ;)
