Chalet Ann has been renovated retaining many original features which complement the contemporary finishes very nicely.
Step into the chalet and you'll be warmly greeted by a cosy living area with a gorgeous fire. Walk up the wooden staircase to a large open-plan kitchen and dining area with French doors that open onto a balcony. The views of the surrounding mountains are breathtaking.
The modern kitchen with large kitchen island is extremely well equipped making it easy to cater for the entire family.

Chalet Ann is located in Le Chatelard; an idyllic, traditional mountain pasture hamlet within a 2 minute drive from the resort of St Martin de Belleville, which offers a variety of bars/restaurants, shops and the ever important gateway to the slopes of Les 3 Vallées -'The Worlds largest ski area'.
Within less than a 100m of Chalet Ann you will be able to experience snowshoe walks, touring, cross country skiing or if you prefer, a pleasant walk taking in the incredible views of the Des Encombres and Belleville valley, with perhaps some snowman building a long the way! Chalet Ann also welcomes guests to visit in the Summer. Walking, climbing and cycling are just a few of the activities available. The contrast from Winter to Summer is truly spectacular!
The renowned ferme auberge Le Chantacoucou is within a 2 minute walk from Chalet Ann where the owners Bernard & Josette will welcome you to discover their traditional cuisine, prepared with products from their farm. A great place to visit in the winter and the summer, after a day of activities!

We had a wonderful family vacation at Chalet Ann. The Chalet is perfectly equipped and located. Jess and Nadine were great in helping us figure out all the details & logistics - hope to return and highly recommend for others.

My husband and I stayed at Chalet Ann for part of our honeymoon in France. I only wish we could've stayed longer to soak in more of the tranquility and charm you'll find here. It was a perfect respite from Paris and the touristic trappings you often get in other Alpine ski villages.
Here are a few things that made it so wonderful:
- fireplace with plenty of wood
- rain showerhead with strong water pressure
- supremely comfortable bedding (think Tempur pedic)
- rustic, clean interior
- small but tasteful selection of board games, books and comedy/action DVDs from the 2000s. Perfect for lazy nights in!
- GREAT location. In a quaint, non-touristy village (otherwise surrounded by ski villages)
- John and Sandra were super helpful with recommendations of places to go and eat nearby, and their housekeeper was extremely responsive for any random questions we had about the area.

If you are looking for the definition of a home away from home, this is it. Beautifully restored chalet with the perfect balance of both original and modern features. After a day' skiing I could not wait to come back here, have a lovely hot shower followed by a homemade meal in the spacious modern kitchen. Then we would finish the evening off with a glass of wine whilst lounging on the large couch in front of the cosy fire. Perfect ski getaway, I cannot wait to come back.
