About this house rental
Welcome to the Maison du Rieu! This house offers a beautiful bright space, with atypical architecture. You are in the countryside, close to major cities. The surroundings offer beautiful walks or bike rides along the Espierres canal.
You can reach Roubaix in 15 minutes, and Lille, Tournai, Courtrai or Villeneuve d'Ascq in 25 minutes.
The accommodation is very quiet with a clear view which overlooks the canal.
Located at the back of our house, and with an independent entrance, the accommodation consists of a large open and bright room, very high ceiling. Its wooden beams and exposed brick walls give it a loft style. The kitchen is open to the dining room and the living room, which has a comfortable convertible sofa.
The sleeping area is on the mezzanine, with a large bedroom, a pleasant and functional bathroom and a small storage room.
A second independent toilet is located on the ground floor.
The pellet stove provides appreciable heat during cooler periods.
You have a 120 m2 garden to enjoy the beautiful sunny days.
A fifth bed is possible on request.
It is also possible to provide a travel cot and a baby chair.

Perfect accommodation for us as a couple in a quiet neighborhood, 10 minutes away from the Stab velodrome in Roubaix. A home from home. Everything is as Helene & Greg have described. Would definitely return.

The house is quite, comfotable and nice. The ownwer Helen was very nice, friendly and helpful to us. Our stay was very comfortable and we enjoy very much, the house has everything you need, a nice kitchen and two toilets! In winter you can use an electric heater with pellets! The place is great to visit Nothern France specially Lille and Belgian cities like Tournai, Kortrik and Gent are very close! We will have a comeback here for sure! We spent a very nice holiday week here. Our landlords Greg and Helen are very friendly and helpful, and dogs are also welcome. The flat is bright, warm, clean and very well laid out, with an extra fenced-in lawn run for the dogs. Highly recommended!
