Description:
This home is a classic Sunriver Cabin design with vaulted ceilings and wood touches throughout. Hardwood floors and ample windows create a welcoming air. The living room has enough seating for every member of your party and a nice and toasty pellet stove surrounded by a lava rock hearth will keep you warm during the winter. The windows that surround the Dining room and Kitchen bring a beautiful, natural light to the area. Outside you will find a private outdoor hot tub and gas BBQ.
Main Floor:
The Living area, kitchen dining and one of the bedrooms are all downstairs along with the laundry room and bathroom.
Living Area:
A small sectional and two stressless chairs make room for everyone to relax. When the snow's coming down and the pellet stove is roaring, nothing compares to a Sunriver winter.
Dining:
The dining table seats 6 and there's a built in buffet against the wall. There are 3 barstools at the counter as well.
Kitchen:
The Kitchen is ready for the cook in your party. With all major appliances and the natural light from the window, it's a quick serve to the counter or the table.
Hall to the Deck/Hot Tub:
Off the Hall is a private half bath on the left, a shower on the right, and a laundry closet past the shower. The door at the end of the hall leads to the deck and hot tub.
Downstairs Bedroom:
The downstairs bedroom houses two twin beds.
Upstairs:
On the landing at the top of the stairs is a bookshelf library
Primary Bedroom:
The upstairs primary bedroom houses a King-sized bed as well as an En Suite with separate sink and private shower/tub combo and toilet.
Extra Sleeping:
There are 2 Twin Air Mattresses also for extra guests.
Recreation Plus (SHARC) Passes:
This home includes 6 Recreation Plus Passes which Include access to SHARC pool, Tennis Courts, Pickleball, Boat Launch, Disc Golf, and Winter Sledding Hill.
*All items within the homes are inspected periodically. Items such as bicycles at homes are to be used at guests' personal risk. Such items are to be inspected by the guest prior to use. Guests are to report any needed repairs to such items. Cascara is not liable for and does not guarantee the quality, functionality, or safety of bikes or other items provided at the property.

House was extremely clean at check in. Was initially frustrated because once arrived we saw a sign that grill was broken and being that it was summer in Sunriver we had planned for most of our meals to be grilled. However after contacting the property manager they were quick to resolve and apologize. Location is great, quiet backyard and close to SHARQ. Clean and relaxing hot tub.

We enjoyed our stay! Lots of games and books. The back patio is lovely with a BBQ and enjoyed the hot tub at night under the trees so much.

This property was as advertised and very sweet and cute.
There were a few items that really impacted our stay. Considering the amount paid and length of stay we would have expected these items to not impact us:
1. The pellet fire place: on the second full day, out of four days, we had to call maintenance as the fire place was making many unusual noises. We ended up having to call and have the maintenance man show up to review the situation. This was (1) an inconvenience, (2) a disruption to our stay. We were ultimately told to not use the fire place at all, upsetting. We, also, were not contacted by the home office in regards to the inconvenience, disruption, and now amenity loss. We would have expected a small credit back or a credit for future use, at a minimum.
2. In the Kitchen: the stove top was so terrible. It was obviously the cheapest stove/oven on the market. Having the raised coils is just so old, needs to be upgraded to at least the flat top glass burners. The coils were crooked, tilted, didn't heat up until you jiggled them a little... Given that we rent to be able to cook most meals it was a rough go.
3. The bed in the master bedroom was HORENDOUS. It was very soft, but had some extreme body grooves in it. Following the extra soft and deeply grooved mattress the pillows were like sleeping on very thick, dense, hard bricks.
My husband and I have never dreaded sleeping before until this bed situation. We would wake up with back and neck aches all over. Never have I missed my bed while on vacation before.
If these items were remedied I would definitely up our rating of this house!
