Casa Ileana was all we hoped for. Well equipped kitchen (we cooked in 2 nights); convenient location (close while quieter than across river in city center and near to university); clean and comfortable. Ileana was a responsive and pleasant host. We loved our time in Verona. We walked everywhere. While we were very comfortable, one bedroom had an unusual configuration - a step down that was potentially dangerous if walking to bathroom at night (we left the light on so no problem).THANK YOU, ILEANA.

This property is beautifully maintained and well equipped in a very quiet area of Verona. We loved the quiet out of the way location but it may not be for everyone. Also read Ileana's check in instructions very carefully they are very clear and easy to follow, but could be confusing if not carefully read. Also the actual location does not match the one on VRBO website so make sure you follow the address provided by Ileana. There restaurants and grocery stores within 5 minutes walk and 10min to the center of town. Taxis were easy to find out side the train station and Ileana was fantastic to communicate with and made our stay very pleasant. The apartment is exceptionally well maintained, and very comfortable. It was our favorite stay in our three week holiday to Italy.

Well what can I say?! Ileana was amazing from start to finish. So helpful and kind and went above and beyond all expectations. A beautiful home which was perfect for our size family with every amenity you need. We will try and come back!

Firstly we should say that the most important part of this review is a big thank you to the owner Ileana for providing such a fantastic apartment. From the beginning Ileanas communication makes you feel at ease with prompt replies to any questions as well as clear instructions. Ileana makes you feel most welcome. We arrived in Verona after a flight to Verona Villafranca Airport and a short bus ride to the Porta Nuova. Buy your bus ticket €6 in the terminal near the exit doors and the bus stop is close by. From there we took a stroll into the city which is about a 20 minutes walk to main square, or Piazza Bra. Thoroughly recommended on a warm late summer evening and your suitcases are easily pulled along the marble pavement flagstones.Once you reach the Piazza Bra then the hustle and bustle of the city begins however it is traffic free and is simply amazing. Stroll on along past the cafes, trattorias, restaurants, high end shops, until you reach the Ponte Nuovo (follow the direction for the Giardino Giusti which is a must visit by the way) and cross the river Adige. In about 5 mins near to the Piazza Isolo (underground car park available) cross the road towards the post office and take a left onto Viccolo Santa Maria in Organo. The property is located just a little way down on the left. (Note it is NOT on Via S.M. Organo as in the description but the smaller Viccolo)Ileana met us at the property and explained everything we needed to know. Guests are provided with a continental style breakfast, coffee machine with coffee pods, orange juice, bottled water, bottle of prosecco in the fridge, sweets, robes, towels, wifi, fully equipped kitchen for 4 persons inc fridge/freezer and dishwasher, a separate studio room with sofa bed, good quality fittings and furnishings and a very comfy bed!! We found it a lovely place to relax after sightseeing or going into the city to socialise in the evening. Locally there was a market on the Piazza Isolo and a good breakfast cafe nearby, cash machine at the post office as well as some good little shops and a lively bar around the corner. It is a city, so expect some noise - mainly in the morning, though our sleep was quiet and uninterrupted. Would we return? Yes! Thankyou Ileana.Jonathan and Amanda
