About this house rental
In a beautiful private park overlooking 2 sandy beaches is a newly renovated house for 10 people One reaches the beach through the park without crossing the road. Very calm. The charm of the countryside by the sea.
The house is surrounded by a large garden and has 4 bedrooms, three with a double bed and another with 4 single beds.
The house also has all outdoor equipment: chairs, tables and barbecue on a sunny English courtyard.
The house is located between the ports of Beg-Meil and La Forêt Fouesnant, where there is a multitude of activities:
- swimming, fishing, sailing school at Cap-Coz and Beg-Meil
- many beaches accessible by bike
- golf, tennis, swimming pools
- a coastal path
- restaurants: Crêperie Chez Marie, Bistro Chez Hubert
- day trip from Beg-Meil to the Glénan archipelago or the medieval town of Concarneau

Kontakt vor Ort war zunächst nicht gut, mehrere Lampen in den Schlafzimmern gingen nicht, ein Bett im Kinderzimmer ist nach einmaliger Benutzung zusammen gebrochen. Das in der Objektbeschreibung als Kinderzimmer genannte Zimmer, würde nach deutschem Recht wohl nicht genehmigt werden. Eine steile, glatte Wendeltreppe führt hinauf unter das Dach und das Zimmer ist nicht mit einer Tür verschließbar. Oben unter dem Dach sind Querbalken, bei denen ein über 1,30m großes Kind sich schnell den Kopf stößt. Das war nicht fair kommuniziert. Ansonsten sind die Schlafzimmer sehr klein, teilweise gar keine Möglichkeit Gepäck zu verstauen.
Küche/Wohnraum unten ist sehr originell und gemütlich, aber Küche für uns 2 Familien schlecht zu bekochen. Einen festen Herd mit mehreren Kochfeldern gibt es nicht. Man kann maximal 3 Kochfelder nutzen, dafür muss man aber den Herd aus einem Schrank holen und aufbauen. Sauberkeit von Küche und Geschirr nicht gegeben. Wir haben alles einmal durchgespült und die Theke geputzt. Der Kühlschrank ist für größere Gruppe etwas klein. Plus: Der große Kombiraum Wohn/Kochen. Wunderschön ist die Lage, der Garten und der Weg zum Meer. Insgesamt war es um das Haus herum sehr ruhig.
Zum Schluss des Aufenthaltes dann doch Reparatur der Schäden und besserer Kontakt mit der Vermieterin, die uns am letzten Abend zu sich eingeladen hat. In diesem Punkt versöhnlicher Abschluss. Der zum Haus gehörende Strand liegt ca. 350 m weg vom Haus und war fantastisch. Insgesamt hatten wir eine gute Zeit.
