We are located in a wonderful village Drežniške Ravne under the mighty Krn Mountain at the threshold of the Triglav National Park.

Our host, Karmen, was exceptionally kind and welcoming. Having lived in the village all her life, she provided us with plenty of insightful tips on what to do in the area. She was also very responsive and generous – we were even greeted with fresh vegetables and eggs from her garden upon arrival, which was such a lovely touch.The apartment has a magnificent view from the terrace, which we really enjoyed. The kitchen had really everything you need. The only downside was that during our week-long stay, we had two different sets of neighbors upstairs. The second family often used the terrace right in front of our bedroom windows as if it was shared space – eating there every evening, reading, etc. This took away a bit of the privacy we had expected, especially since Karmen had mentioned that the terrace belonged to our apartment. It seems the garden is spacious enough for everyone, but it would be good to clarify that the terrace should remain private for the guests staying in the downstairs apartment.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would still recommend this place for its location, warm hospitality, and beautiful surroundings. With a little more clarity on terrace use, it would be just perfect.

From the warm welcome from the hosts continuing through the week we stayed at this property, we felt at home. Absolutely beautiful setting with an amazing view from the private terrace. Spotlessly clean, with everything we needed to cook our meals. Comfortable new bed and great hot water and shower. Very quiet at night. There was another couple in the other apartment above us, but that wasn’t a problem. A bit out of the way on country roads from Kobarid, but well worth the extra driving (20 minutes or so) for the location. We especially enjoyed the walks to the beautiful waterfalls in the area. Highly recommended!

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft und freundliche, hilfsbereite Vermieter. Die Ferienwohnung hat alles, was man zum Entspannen braucht. Die herrliche Umgebung lädt zu Wanderungen zu traumhaften Wasserfällen oder ausgedehnten Bergtouren ein. Zu empfehlen ist auch eine Zipline-Tour. Wer Ruhe und herrliche Natur abseits des Touristenrummels sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

Wir waren in dem sehr gemütlichen Apartment für eine Woche zu Gast. Selbst an Regentagen, die wir aber nicht hatten, ist das Apartment kein Ort, wo man nicht gerne wäre. Die Umgebung ist zum direkten Loswandern bestens geeignet und auch das nahe Soca-Tal bietet viele tolle Möglichkeiten. Am meisten angetan waren wir von dem nahen Klettersteig auf den Krn, den wir aber wegen des instabilen Wetters leider nicht gehen konnten.
Noch ein Wort zu unserer Gastgeberfamilie: Sie haben uns einen äußerst warmen Empfang bereitet und unseren Aufenthalt bei ihnen mit Rat und Tat sehr angenehm begleitet.
