About this house rental
Inside of a beautiful and newly built shared house, “La Maison de la Mare” provides for a total of 7 x 20 m2 bedrooms (3 on the ground floor, and 4 on the 1st floor), all within a beautiful forested and fully gated property.
Each private bedroom consists of : an entrance, individual bathroom with toilet, double bed, desk, and large closet. All benefit of either private balconies or direct access to the gardens (except for room #5). Each bedrooms includes bed and bath linen.
Common areas include a modern well equipped kitchen with crockery + utensils, (two fridges, microwave, oven, dishwasher, etc), and large dining table, a comfortable living-room with TV, and laundry room with 2 washing machines and 1 dryer, parking and access to the forested garden with chairs/table.
Taxi service available from and to the property can be scheduled.
The train station with constant trains to Avon/ Fontainebleau, and Paris is within 5/8 minutes walk.
The Domaine is also closed to shops and facilities, next to Fontainebleau forest, riding schools, jogging and cycling courses, golf, sport grounds and spa.

We had a really good time.The prooerty has a very large and beautiful garden.Living room and kitchen can be cramped if you would stay inside with 14 people.The kitchen is well equipped.

Nous avons passé 2 très bonnes soirées et nuits en famille. L’endroit est privilégié, calme et la location en elle-même plutôt jolie et très propre.
La déco est sobre mais c’est très bien pour une location. La disposition des chambres est très pratique également.
Le jardin pourrait être mieux délimité pour les gens qui comme nous ont un chien mais finalement ça n’a pas posé de problème.
Si j’avais une remarque, je dirais qu’il serait prudent de mettre un piège à chenilles processionnaires sur le pin qui surplombe le jardin. Nous avons justement croisé ces insectes très dangereux sur le quai un peu plus bas, donc les environs sont touchés.

Quiet and secluded spot but still with walking access to market / train to Paris. Comfortable rooms with all the amenities we needed to cook most dinners during a stay to climb with friends. Pascal was very responsive and helpful with the few odd needs that came up. Thanks!
