The apartment is modern and nicely decorated, the bed is very comfortable, the shower is excellent, and the terrace view is stunning – especially at sunset. The location is good, just a 3-minute walk from the beach.
Absolutely everything could be heard from the apartment above and next door – footsteps, dragging chairs, even what sounded like a ping pong ball bouncing. This meant I was woken up every morning around 7–8 a.m. and couldn’t rest even after lunch, despite asking the owners for quiet during those times. In six nights I didn’t have a single undisturbed night’s sleep.
The apartment was also missing small essentials – there was no cooking oil, no spare trash bags, and no dishwasher tablets for a week’s stay. Because of that, I couldn’t throw away all the leftover fridge items and empty bottles.
Finally, although I was told I could check out an hour later, no one informed the cleaner, who arrived at 10:00 and I had to rush out embarrassed and unprepared.
Also, the doors were very difficult to lock and unlock, which was inconvenient.
