Le Grand Gîte

Le gîte est très joli, propre, avec un beau paysage. Le personnel ainsi que le gérant sont très accueillant. Je suis venu seul et je ne me suis finalement jamais senti seul comme l’ambiance est très convivial. Je recommande vivement ce grand gîte.

Le grand gîte est juste incroyable dans sa totalité !! Son emplacement un panorama magnifique ! Des sentiers de randonnée vraiment sympa le gite est isolé juste ce qu’il faut, les installations sont parfaites et bien étudiées pour tous : famille, adultes, randonneurs tout le monde y trouve son compte ! Être bien reçu, se sentir à la maison, très très bien manger, passer des super vacances a un prix très respectable c’est au grand gîte

We were made very welcome by Laurent who gave us lots of advice on interesting places to visit and activities with our children. The property is usually used by large groups of students and children but during the summer months is open to families and other guests. There is a feeling of a rather upmarket family hostel - the furniture in the rooms is good but not fancy, the ensuite was small but spotlessly clean. Lots of games for the children, donkeys to visit, a frog chorus at night and a beautiful terrace where we ate dinner and breakfast most days. And the food was fantastic - generous breakfast and 4 course dinners with coffee which were really excellent. Our daughters both still talk about the desserts! We will definitely return next time we are in the Cantal. Thank you Laurent!
