About this house rental

With peaceful surroundings, sauna, garden and play equipment, this modern holiday home in Barvaux-sur-Ourthe, has something for everyone, making the holiday fun for all age groups. With 4 bedrooms to house a family of 8, this place is a good choice for a relaxing family vacation.

If you want to shop for your daily stuff, then the supermarkets are 1 km away from the home. The town centre is 2 km away, where you will find all the facilities. You can also go for a swim in the public pool, 3 km away.

You can get your daily dose of sun in the garden and relaxation in the sauna. Thanks to the play equipment, children will not get bored here. Barbecue is also there for enjoyable dinners with family. Washing machine, TV and parking are additional amenities available for your convenience. You can also extend your days in the solarium. Notably, the electricity costs for months, April/May/Sept are 12.00 €/night, while it is 5.00 € / night for June / July / August. From October to March, it is 18.00 €/night.

Check-in time is 4-6 PM and check-out time is 9-10 AM.

Het was een groot probleem dat het toilet beneden buiten werking was. Mijn vrouw is heel slecht ter been en kan bijna geen trappen lopen. Voor elke keer naar het toilet was er nu hulp van twee personen nodig. Ook s'nachts. Verder stonk het in de douche beneden. Toilet boven kon niet op slot. De picknicktafel buiten was verrot en gevaarlijk voor kinderen. De houten vloer buiten is ook aan vervanging toe. Die is zo gammel dat er valgevaar ontstaat. Verder moet je maar niet onder de bedden kijken, niet erg schoon.

Het is in de basis een mooi, groot huis. Maar inmiddels zijn een aantal zaken wel aan vervanging toe. De picknick tafel op het terras is bijvoorbeeld helemaal verrot. Ook de afvoer van het toilet beneden en de douche beneden werkt niet goed meer. Even douchen en de slaapkamer staat blank. Het huis ligt op een ruim perceel, je kijkt mooi tegen de bossen aan. Wij hadden 2 honden mee. De tuin was niet omheind wat voor ons ook een minpunt was. In de omgeving is voldoende te doen, maar wij hadden meer wandelmogelijkheden en zwemmogelijkheden (rivier, meertje) verwacht. Al met al hebben we een goede vakantie gehad, maar zullen we hier niet nog een keer heen gaan.

het huisje was vies en vooral de wc stonk van de badkamer kwam ook een vieze schimmel lucht af er waren heel veel dingen stuk het rooster en bakplaat moesten we achter in de bosjes terug vinden. verder was het een leuke vakantie hebben er zelf maar iets van gemaakt.
