About this villa rental
Villa Aleva has country house, family atmosphere and it is built on the central square of the old traditional village of Vlychada.
The surrounding views are magnificent to the mountains and the seaside village of Bali and the sea.
The villa size is 217 sq.m having six bedrooms that can accommodate up to 12 people.
In the rear garden there are plenty of trees, some exotic plants and occasionally an orchard with seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables that the visitor can have at their disposal.
In the main entrance and in the front garden the leafy trees and the swimming pool (60 sq.m) dominating. The swimming pool has a special area for children, and the visitors can relax on the sun beds and garden furniture.
Visitors have the opportunity to take advantage of the traditional stone oven and the barbecue.
The main entrance of the villa is from the pool side. Inside there is a small living room with fireplace the satellite TV and all the other multimedia facilities.
Through an arch the visitor can reach the kitchen which is fully equipped providing all comforts to the visitor during the preparation of the breakfast, supper and dinner.
On the ground floor are two bedrooms each equipped with a double bed, and their windows lead directly to the swimming pool.
On the ground floor you can find also a large bathroom and a WC.
From the living room and large lounge and through the two staircases you can reach to the two bedrooms of the first floor.

Beautiful villa for our very special family holiday! We had all the amenities we needed included a lovely gift basket when we arrived. Rooms were extremely clean and well kept, like a home away from home!The pool and BBQ area are stunning and after a long beach day was much appreciated.We walked a couple of times to beach and the town but with small kids or people not confident walking on country roads, cars were necessary.We would love to stay again and will be in touch for next summer!

Lovely villa with great pool and Mountain view. Host lives next door so available whenever needed and very friendly. Clean and tidy house. Local town has several restaurants and activities available. Would need a car to access villa and beach etc practically especially with a young family.

The house is lovely. Pool is great for relaxing and plenty of beds/space for 11 people. 5 min drive into town with beach/restaurants and stores. Easy check in and responsive host!

The villa is spacious and exceptionally clean.
The outside areas are particularly great, plenty of places to sit outside. The pool is fabulous, very clean and private.
The gardens are beautiful with large bbq and pizza oven. There are fruit trees which you can collect fresh fruit from.
The kitchen has plenty of crockery, utensils etc. Having a dish washer and washing machine was essential for us as a party of 13 including 7 children.
Plenty of towels etc are provided (but bring your own to take to the beach or buy one in Bali where they are sold everywhere!)
You'll need to buy drinking water during your stay as the tap water is not recommended for drinking but several bottles were provided on our arrival.
Also when we arrived we were gifted fresh fruit, hand made pastries (so delicious) and a bottle of olive oil, one of wine and one of raki. Part way through our stay the owbers brought us grapes and also homemade spanakopita (which was also delicious).
We felt so welcomed and the hosts were very happy to help with anything we asked.
We had hire cars but the villa is walkable distance from Bali, and the road train stops not far down the hill so I would still stay at Villa Aleva without a car.
With 7 children playing in the pool I worried we were a bit loud but the owners (who live next door) were very patient with the children and we always felt welcome and never felt the owners being so close was intrusive either.
The guest book they keep at the Villa says it all, so many lovely thank you notes.
I would not hesitate to return to Villa Aleva and to Crete (in fact I wish I were still there!)
