About this campground/ rv resort rental
"Harvey's Hideaway " is a Superior grade caravan with the benefit of both double glazing and central heating with radiators in all rooms.
We have now provided for your benefit a High Chair, , Potty ,Junior Toilet Seat and Travel Cot (will need to supply bedding) for our younger guests and to cut down on packing!
The property has a separate cloakroom in addition to a family shower room.
Beds made up on arrival.
Towels are not to be removed from the property and taken to the beach or swimming pool.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker, fridge with ice-box, microwave, toaster and kettle plus most other things you would expect to find in a kitchen. (Mugs, plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses, knife block, saucepans, cooking utensils, bottle opener etc...).
The caravan has its own tarmac parking space adjacent for easy loading/unloading. This plot is located centrally on the site with all the amenities and activities only a short walk away, including shop, indoor pool, beach, evening entertainment, archery, play area and crazy golf.

SITE PASSES are not included in the price, but can be easily purchased from reception Prices start from £55 for a short break during low season and includes everyone staying within the property.

Clean caravan , ideal location for local beaches . So great that we could bring our four legged friend with us. We had a fabulous week , we were really lucky with the weather it was scorching !

The caravan is fine and was well cleaned prior to our arrival. Unfortunately though, initially, we couldn't get into it! We had been given the wrong code for the key safe so were unable to gain entry.
The young lady at the reception was very helpful and tried to contact the owner, but without success. We had tried phoning the owner, but only got a tape recorder. We tried another number, but that didn't accept incoming calls. The security staff were all for smashing the key safe open with a sledgehammer, but needed to get the boss's authority - and he had gone home.
So in the end we had to make an emergency booking at the Premier Inn in Sandown - which doesn't have any parking, by the way. The owner finally responded to all our e-mails and texts the next morning and gave us the correct code for the key safe.
She also said that she had refunded our hotel and parking costs; I don't have any reason to doubt that she has, but we won't know for sure until we get our credit card statement at the end of the month.
Apart from the initial problem, we thoroughly enjoyed our week there. The park is well laid out and has access to a semi-private beach; it's down (and back up!) a very steep path but we made it - twice. And we're no spring chickens! All the other attractions on The Island are easily accessible by car, although the roads tend to be hilly and twisty, so don't rush.
We'd happily go there again - provided we are given the right key code!
