A substantial apartment of 130m situated within the exclusive Domaine de la Residence. The apartment has been refurbished to a high standard with a modern kitchen, wooden floors and a home cinema. Ideal for skiing and excellent for hiking and biking in the spring and summer. Villars is truly a dual season resort. There are excellent summer facilities and the surrounding areas of lake Geneva.

This accommodation has plenty of space to accommodate a large group/family. The multiple full bathrooms was great for our group of 5. The unit was well stocked with kitchen utensils, good quality kitchen appliances (espresso machine, milk foamer, toaster, etc), a few games, entertainment system, etc… The outside deck/balcony is a good size and we made good use of the space reading on the couch on the deck or eating our meals at the outdoor table.
A couple of minor details that could be improved: the shower drain in the master bedroom is extremely slow and the drain could use a cleaning to drain the water better. The in-unit washer/dryer wasn’t working so we used the common (shared with all tenants of the building) washer/dryer in the basement. The common washer/dryer was 0.20 CHF per 10 minutes so a wash (with extra rinse cycle) was about 2 CHF. The downstairs washer/dryer are much larger than the in-unit ones.
We visited during the summer and it took about 5 minutes to walk down to the gondola and 10 minutes back (up hill is slower :)). There is a single reserved parking spot. Parking for a single vehicle was fine, during busier times parking for multiple vehicles might be more challenging.
Beds were very comfortable and overall the place is very cozy and comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend this place and would definitely try to stay here again when I return to Villars. Jonathan is a great host and very quick to respond to any questions.

We spent a weekend at Jonathan’s place and it was great! It is very cozy, super well located and has everything that you might need. It was very clean and tidy, and Jonathan is very helpful. We would repeat!

Appartement is located at walking distance from the ski-slopes, is well equipped with a.o. wine fridge, sound and cinema system, large terraces. Great residence for families up to 8 persons.
