About this chalet rental
La Dolce Vita… somewhere between Gent and Bruges, most beautiful and charming cities of Belgium… but also somewhere hidden in the forest so you can enjoy your quality time in privacy… there is a cute wooden chalet for you to stay with your friends or family.
The chalet has a spacious living room with a stove and a comfortable big sofa and a flat screen HD TV. Next to it dining area with extendable table. The semi-open kitchen is fully equipped: available dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, blender, plates, glasses, pots, wok, cutlery.
Chalet offers two separate bedrooms and the bathroom with the shower and the toilet.
Flat screen HD TV and broadband wireless Internet available.
There are clean sheets, towels, tea towels, liquid soap, shampoo and toilet paper in the apartment. Available in the apartment also washing machine.
Huge garden with sauna, outdoor shower and jacuzzi are available for your use. Come, enjoy and relax!
In the garden you can also find a barbecue for your use.
In the neighborhood two most beautiful and charming cities of Belgium: Gent and Bruges, with all theirs tourists attractions and lots of sight-seeing options.
For nature lovers lots of nice bike and walking routes. And if you don't feel like going anywhere, you can just stay in and enjoy yourself.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Dolce Vida! Absolutely stunning and quiet property. Cottage had all you need. Communication with owner great! Perfect location!

We had a lovely stay! Wim was a great host, and we really enjoyed the tranquility of the property. The hot tub and sauna were wonderful, and the garden really pleasant. Bedding and towels provided which was really useful.
It was a nice walk into the local village of Ursel with a number of cafes. We had ribs and steak in La Belle Vue, washed down with local beer; it was delicious!
Ghent and Bruge are a short drive away.
We really enjoyed our stay!

The property is exactly as described. The pictures don’t do it justice…. It is gorgeous and well maintained. The host was very responsive and we felt so welcome. Great location. Many wonderful restaurants just a few miles away. Great for relaxing and day trips to Bruges and Ghent.

Mid way thru our 16 day Euro vacation, we stayed at La Dolce Vita because I knew my family would need a few days of relaxation. The hot tub and sauna were greatly appreciated as was the huge lush green lawn and beautiful plants and trees all around. For an entire day of oyr stay, we literally did nothing but hang out on the giant bean bags on the shady lawn, watching the trees sway back and forth in the bright blue sky above. There are the cutest little pet deer here at La Dolce Vita that you cant help but smile at first thing in the morning when you open the windows, or when you pull into the driveway and they give you a tail wagging greeting. We even collected a few fresh eggs for breakfast during our stay. Beautiful big red hens, thinking New Hampshire Reds, were also a pleasure to watch and feed. And there rooster dude didnt wake me up once (wish I could say as much of our own chickens).A beautiful TV set up in the front room, that we didnt even use. That likely added to our relaxing time. :-)The town of Ursel closes early so be sure to grab groceries before 7pm. That was a shocker!! We ended up driving 20 minutes to Eeklo, awesome town, to get groceries there. We liked Eeklo so much we went the following day to get pictures of the big steepled church, and get some fries, ice cream and beer.La Dolce Vita is positioned about 40 minutes from Bruges and 45-50 from Ghent. And about an hour from the surprisingly captivating Sanctuary Wood WW1/Hill 62 tour, I think in Flanders. So great location with an easy drive to the top tourist destinations (the few we visited) and then home to your quiet country paradise. And I must add, the very cool and unique craftsmanship of La Dolce Vita is a real treat. Bold colored ceilings, fun lighting and accent lights outside, awesome bathroom design, and green roof to admire while laying on the lawn. The amazing Sauna and cold tub a must after a day of walking around Ghent. And such a pleasure walking around the grounds to check our the different flowers, bushes/shrubs and trees. I may just be a plant geek. We hope to return again next year to La Dolce Vita as BelgIium was our favorite place on our Euro vacay. If you are even considering a stay here at La Dolce Vita, JUST DO IT! You will not be disappointed.
