About this house rental
A spacious 5 bedroom family house (sleeps 10) located between the small Breton fishing port of Dahouet and the adjacent huge sandy bay of Pleneuf Val Andre. The beach of Val Andre is 450 yards from the front door with its unspoiled promenade and panoramic views of the bay of St Brieuc. All water sport activities are catered for by the local centre, and if you prefer to stay on dry land there are miles and miles of rugged coastline to explore on the well maintained and indicated footpaths. Val Andre has a good variety of shops, restaurants and boutiques, as well as its renowned golf course and casino. In the other direction at the same distance is the fishing port of Dahouet with its small marina and local fishing fleet. There are cafes and restaurants to discover but not so many as to be overwhelming, the welcome is typically Breton and we are sure you will appreciate the local seafood dishes. The house offers a private south facing timber terraced courtyard.

One of the top links courses in France, the views over the coast and cliffs are stunning and the backdrop of rolling green countryside is spectacular - 18 holes, par 72, 5836 metres.
Sable D'Or Les Pins: Lying close to the Cap Fréhel headland and the superb beaches of Vieux-Bourg and Les Sables d’Or - 18 Holes, Par: 70, Length: 5510 Yards.
Other golf courses in St Malo, Dinard, St Cast, Les Ormes.
Water sports and beaches: The Breton sailing centres offer a wide range of water activities for all ages. It is worth checking their range of boats as well as their courses which they run for kids and adults.
The closest sailing centre is on Val André beach. You can rent a variety of sailing boats, windsurfers, sea kayaks, canoes. The centre also organises excellent sailing courses for children and adults as well as sand yachting courses.

Markets: This is very much part of French life and a delight to view and choose from vegetables, delicatessen as well as seafood stalls. Not to mention the last gadget for which a vendor will invariably find 1000 uses. Most markets will end late morning.

Our family of 8 adults, and 2 babies had a wonderful holiday, staying in this well-appointed, practical and beautiful house. We loved the outdoor area, the covered outside dining room, and the spacious kitchen and living room. It was so good to have 3 showers and 5 loos too, with such a number of us in the house.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison de Dave et Isabelle: décorée avec goût et extrêmement propre, elle dispose de tout le confort et le matériel souhaités, la literie permet de bonnes nuits de repos et l'espace extérieur est charmant. En front de mer, ce serait vraiment le paradis!!!
