About this house rental
1 km outside Neuhaus, directly on the Rennsteig and opposite the Waldbad Bernhardsthal. Parking, laundry, barbecue area with covered seating area and campfire site are located directly at the house. Firewood is provided on request for a fee or can also be brought by yourself.
The nearest supermarket is about 1200 m away, the nearest restaurant about 50 m.
If you are looking for a quiet and simply furnished holiday home that is big enough to spend your time there with your family or friends, this is the place for you. If the number of 10 beds is not sufficient, there is the possibility to book 2 extra beds in the house and a maximum of 8 beds in the neighboring Finnhütte (house 2).
The Finnhütte is simple but functional. The bedrooms are located in the upper 2 floors, divided into once 6 beds and once 4 beds.
The kitchen is equipped with all necessary kitchen appliances and utensils, which are also in a normal household: electric stove with oven, sink and dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with small freezer, microwave, filter coffee machines, kettle, crockery, cutlery, glasses, Kitchen linen etc.
2 sanitary rooms with shower and toilet, lounge with enough tables and chairs and a TV.
Outside there are covered seating areas, a campfire site, barbecue area and XXL-Smooker, which are also used in winter. The campfire site is built in such a way that a large cauldron can be hung over it to cook food, if desired the kettle is provided. Firewood can be purchased through us.
The huts are popular because of their proximity to the forest especially in hiking groups, cycling tourists and extended families. But also motorbike fans come here at their expense.
If you want to swim, you can do so in the nearby Waldbad Bernhardsthal or in winter in the indoor swimming pool in Neuhaus am Rennweg. There you can also have a sauna.
For excursions and activities can also be found a lot in the region. Examples include the glassblower town of Lauscha, the snow and summer tubbing rink in Siegmundsburg, summer toboggan run in Ernsthal, toy museum in Sonneberg, mountain railway in Oberweißbach, ski arena in Steinach. There is much more, we are happy to provide information. Even gold panning is possible.

Ein zu kurzes Wochenende für ein zu wunderbares Erlebnis.
Die Hütte ist leicht zu erreichen; super sauber und perfekt wenn man einfach mal wandern gehen will.
Wir waren eine Gruppe aus 6 Freunden die sich von jedem Winkel aus Deutschland + Österreich treffen wollten.
Ein großer Tisch perfekt zum Gemeinsamen Essen und um Gesellschaftsspiele zu spielen.
Die Gastgeber waren überaus freundlich und haben sich um jede Frage sofort gekümmert.
Empfehle ich gern weiter :D

Die Blockhütte hat die Ausstattung und den Aufbau einer typischen Wanderhütte und eignet sich mit direkter Lage am Rennsteg perfekt für Wandergruppen oder mit Feuerstelle und anderen auch gut für ein Wochenende unter Freunden.

Rustikale aber voll ausgestattete Unterkunft. Den Feuerplatz haben wir gleich mehrmals genutzt.
