I felt like we were staying at the house of our favorite uncle. Well-appointed doesn't begin to describe the place. The bathroom is thoroughly modern and immaculate and stocked with an assortment of soaps and shampoos, and the rest of the house is an eclectic blend of old, new, funky, and elegant. And you absolutely cannot complain about the location because it is ON the beach. The listing doesn't do it justice - I could have stayed in that house for a few months. The friendly host met us at the building and gave us a nice tour. She was great with communication before we arrived. The refrigerator was stocked with food and beverages! The main bedroom had this outrageous historic wallpaper and matching curtains and I felt like Marie Antoinette every morning when I opened my eyes to such luxurious surroundings. Ignore the carpet up the stairs to the front door, it's the only detriment. The back balcony was so pleasant I almost didn't feel like leaving to go on our outings. There is a bakery and a little grocery store within walking distance.

The concrete steps to the house could use a little repair for safety reasons, and there could be a little more exterior lighting in front for those late returns.
