This is a lovely property both inside and also on the terrace. It is spacious and beautifully furnished. In hot weather it has the benefit of very efficient and easy to control air conditioning. It has parking right outside the front door. Mercatale is an excellent location to stay in terms of being equally convenient to visit Florence, Siena and other wonderful towns and sights such as San Gimignano, Monteriggione and the many towns of the Chianti wine region. As important as all that, Daniele and Elisabetta, the owners who live next door, are very welcoming and made us feel at home right away. Chris and Jan and family.
