Welcome to La Maison de la Colline, a spacious and elegant 6-bedroom holiday home set in the peaceful hills above the Provençal town of Apt, in the heart of the Luberon. Surrounded by nature and offering stunning views of Saignon and the Luberon, the house combines privacy, comfort, and easy access to town. Ideal for families or groups of friends, it comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests and is perfect for exploring Provence at a relaxed pace.
The property
With approximately 200 m² of living space, the house is set within a 3,300 m² landscaped garden filled with mature trees that provide shade, privacy, and a sense of calm.
Sleeping & layout:
- 6 bedrooms in total
- 5 bedrooms in the main house
- 1 independent stone poolside cabin with private bathroom, ideal for a couple, teenagers, or guests seeking extra independence
Bed configuration: 2 double beds and 8 single beds (one single bed can be coverted into a comfortable double)
3 bathrooms and 3 WC
Additional convertible sofa bed in the lower lounge (this allows the house to accommodate to up to 14 guests when in use)
Air conditioning in upstairs bedrooms and the main living/dining area
Bed linen and house towels provided
The main living level features a bright 37 m² living-dining room with seating for 12, comfortable sofas, and a TV. Large doors open onto a south-facing balcony, shaded and perfectly positioned to enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks while taking in the panoramic views. From here, steps lead directly down to the outdoor dining area and pool.
A fully equipped kitchen, ideal for large groups, allows everyone to cook and dine together with ease.
Downstairs, a second lounge with its own TV offers a quiet retreat — perfect for children, teens, or guests wanting a separate, more relaxed space.

Guests enjoy exclusive access to the entire property, including:
- Private heated swimming pool (10 × 5 m) – available April to October
- Sun loungers and tranquil pool surroundings
- Outdoor dining area
- Independent stone poolside cabin with private bathroom
- Boule court (pétanque)
- Large private garden
- 5 bicycles available for guest use
Families with young children are well catered for, with a cot and high chairs available.

You will be personally welcomed at the property upon arrival, and a detailed guide to the house and the surrounding area will be shared with you in advance. we spent a wonderful week. The place is beautiful with lots of room (we were a group of 7 adults and 5 children). We enjoyed the pool and the petanque field.

La maison est très agréable, le terrain très grand et bien situé. La maison était propre à l'intérieur, on ne peut malheureusement pas en dire autant des extérieurs; le bbq était sale, le salon extérieur recouvert de poussières et feuilles, tables poussièreuses, table de pingpong et balançoire inutilisables. Un autre inconvénient est d'avoir la cuisine à l'étage; il faut de ce fait faire énormément de marches si on veut vivre et prendre ses repas à l'extérieur. Vu la dangerosité de l'escalier extérieur, cette maison est à éviter avec des petits enfants. Enfin, dernier bémol, il n'y a qu'une salle de bain dans la maison principale, .. la seconde douche est installée dans la buanderie (bon pour se décrotter après avoir jardiné). En résumé, la maison mériterait un rafraîchissement, un meilleur suivi et certains espaces devraient être repensés.
