About this house rental
This stunning bungalow has been has been newly refurbished to a very high standard set in a quiet cul de sac in Goodwick. A peaceful enclosed garden, with a new decking area in the sunny south facing back. New patio doors in the sunny living room lead to the garden. The kitchen is equipped with all the mod cons , washing machine and dishwasher fridge and freezer .Very high spec bathroom with a whirlpool bath and power shower. Beautiful stylish living room , leather three piece suite, dining table seats 6 ,42 inch screen tv, blue ray DVD player, , cd player , electric fire in wood surround. Two light and spacious bedrooms, one south facing double with a king size bed, brand new firm memory foam mattress as of Oct 2024 . At the front a large twin room, the third bedroom is currently set out as a sunny office area where you can have some quiet time to read a book from our extensive bookshelf or maybe write a postcard. You may even want to catch up on some emails , we have free wi-fi fast speed internet access , which works well throughout the house. There are plenty of electricity plugs in each room for plugging in and charging electrical equipment . There is also a small selection of family DVDs for the times you might fancy a cosy day in . The back looks on to a beautiful woodland , so you are not looked upon by anyone in your living room or garden or patio. It is beautifully quiet peaceful and relaxing . Garden furniture , washing line , parasol and barbecue also supplied.

Great property! Well equipped large kitchen, good sized rooms all round. Fantastic, private, huge decking area. Easy to park right outside bungalow. We prefer to use public transport when we're on holiday so we can both have a drink, so used both train and buses to visit different places. Only realised on our last bus journey that we could ask the driver to stop round the corner from the property, which would've saved us a few, tired struggles back!

Beautiful place to stay everything you would need. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen perfect. Plenty of places to see near by with a car. My family live in Fishguard so we had a fabulous catch up. Would definitely stay again.

A good sized bungalow in a quiet but a little run down area. Our initial impression of the property was not good as we could not see it for the overgrown bushes at the front. Key collection was very concerning especially as the method for collection is clearly advertised on other holiday sites which is a security issue.
The property was reasonably clean but there were some areas that required a deeper clean, The owner agreed to a slightly earlier access time which we appreciated, so perhaps this may be the reason why certain areas were missed.
The property could also benefit from a review of the contents. The bedding, particularly the fitted sheet in the master bedroom had seen better days, as had the pillows which were very flat. The towels looked old , but fortunately we brought our own.
The crockery in the kitchen was mismatched and some items again had seen better days, chips and cracks were evident. There was no washing up bowl nor dish rack. The glass worktop protector needs replacing.
The room advertised as 'The Study' was really a little untidy overflow storage room.
Although a welcome pack wasn't advertised, the fact that not even a full toilet roll had been left was a little poor.
There was no information folder whatsoever and we struggled to work out how to get hot water- There really should be a booklet containing all the necessary information. There wasn't even a visitors book.
The outside chair on the decking collapsed, which fortunately didn't result in injury but highlights that a review of the contents of the property is required.
The owner was a friendly Lady, and it's not in our nature to leave negative reviews, but we do feel that there are several issues which need immediate attention.
On a positive note the bungalow is ideally situated to explore the area and we managed to visit Picton Castle, St David's, Tenby, Saundersfoot and Scolton Manor.We also managed a lovely walk from Goodwick to Fishguard.
