About this apartment rental
Located in a quiet street in an alive old parisian district (where lived Edith Piaf and Maurice Chevalier) with many shops, market, restaurants, etc. 10 mn walk from the "Buttes Chaumont" park and "Père Lachaise" cemetery, at 15 mn far from Chatelet Paris-center by tube. Parking in underground (access for small and medium car).

Absolutely fantastic stay! The fully equipped apartment was spotless, spacious, and exactly as in the pictures. Perfect location - quiet and close to amazing bakeries. The Moisands were wonderful hosts with great communication. Can't wait to return!

My wife and I stayed for one month. This is a great place to stay in Paris and we would certainly stay here again. We took 2 small side trips during the month and it was very convenient to just leave with a backpack for a few days and then arrive back in Paris and have everything waiting for us. The apartment is well appointed, extremely clean, and very close to the metro. Daniel and his wife met us on the first day to go over everything, greeted us with a bottle of wine, and then called a few days later to make sure we had settled in ok. Thank you very much for such a lovely rental in Paris. I give a Five Star Superior rating to the Hosts and their apartment.

We liked everything about the apartment: comfortable & fully equipped, a 5-10 minute walk to a G-20 store for groceries (a little further to a Monoprix), a nearby metro stop (20-25 minutes to the main sites of Paris. We enjoyed the walking around the "vide grenier" the one Sunday that we were there. Most of all, Daniel & Genevieve were so gracious & warm that we felt welcomed as friends or family. Grand merci !

Daniel was a wonderful host for our stay in Paris.
We had issues with the door shortly after first getting to the place. Even though he was on his way to the airport for his own holiday, Daniel turned around and came back to the apartment to show us what we were doing incorrectly. During our stay, Paris experienced some protests that became violent in areas. Daniel checked in on us to make sure we were safe.
About the property itself. The neighborhood is quiet at night, but the nearby schoolyard can get a little rowdy in the mornings with playing children. There are a couple of boulangeries and supermarkets within easy walking distance, as well as some restaurants.
My biggest issues with this rental was the location, especially if you plan on using public transportation. It takes several minutes to walk to the nearest metro station, and you should expect up to thirty minutes to reach any popular landmark. This wasn't a major concern for us as the weather was great for walking around in, but it might be something to consider.
If you're wanting a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the city, then this place is a great choice!
