About this house rental
The entire 120 m2 house is reserved for guests only. They will have exclusive use of it and the balconies. On the ground floor there are a sitting and a dining place, the kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom with a wash basin ,toilet ,shower place and the washing machine. In front of the house is a barbeque veranda and at the back of the house is a balcony with view to the church yard.
A wooden staircase leads to the first floor where there are the twin bedroom and the attic bedroom in a single area, a master bedroom and a bathroom with a toilet ,wash basin and a bathtub with shower device . There is also a balcony with view of the village and the surrounding hills.
Air condition split units are installed in the three bedrooms and portable fans in the sitting and dinning area and the kitchen .
Located in the picturesque community of Pagi, this 3 bedroom house, 30 km from the town of Corfu and just a 5 minute drive to the magnificent beach of Agios Georgios is perfect for a relaxing holiday! Come enjoy the Corfiot, village life, the beach and the local cousine! The beach is perfectly organised with sunbeds and beach umbrellas for the much needed shade! For those who prefer a less organised , more secluded coast, there are spots at the right and left ends of the beach.
In the village are 007 Bond-Cafe (known from film shootings of the James Bond film "For your eyes only") and a tavern with traditional dishes.
Pagi itself has a strategic location for exploring the beautiful sights of the northern part of Corfu, such as Afionas with wonderful sunset, Canal D' Amour in Sidari, Arillas beach and Agios Stefanos-Avliotes beach, Krini village with Angelokastro castle, Lakones village with view of Paleokastritsa, La Grotta beach bar (142 steps down) and the Monastery of the Virgin in Paleokastritsa,Theotoky Estate at Ropa's valley , Old Perithia the Corfu's ghost village with traditional tavernas, is island's best kept secret.

Wir haben das Haus mit 2 Familien (4 Erwachsene und 2 kleinen Kinder- ca. 3 Jahre alt) gemietet. Das Haus ist vollständig ausgestattet. Geschirr, Küchenustensilien, Handtücher, Bettwäsche, Putzmittel, bis zum Olivenöl, Gewürze, Kaffee, Kaffeefiltern, Moskitoshutz und noch viel mehr : einfach alles was man brauchen kann! Dimitris hat sogar Kinderstühle für uns organisiert. Der Bäcker fährt jeden Morgen um 9 um die Ecke. Der Gemüsenhändler hupt auch, wenn er im Dorf ankommt. Das Haus befindet sich weniger als 8 Autominuten vom Strand Agios Georgios. Der Ort ist nicht so stark touristisch besucht, bietet dennoch eine Vielfalt an Restaurants, Snackbars und Supermärkten.
Das Dorf Pagi hat ein nettes Cafe mit einem kleinen Souvenirladen und viele Leckereien, die ein benachbarter Behindertenverein produziert. Dazu das James Bond Café, wo wir aber nicht waren und die Romeos Taverne (2 Gehminuten vom Haus entfernt). Das Essen dort ist hervorragend und mit Liebe und für wenige Gäste gemacht. Zuletzt das Grill room Restaurant, das wie ein Imbiss aussieht und seine Tische quasi direkt vor der Hausterrasse hat, bietet eigentlich viel mehr als es scheint: frische einfache Speisen.
Wir haben unsere 10 Tage üüdort sehr genossen und empfehlen das Haus auf jeden Fall weiter!

La maison est merveilleuse, fournie et entretenue avec grande attention. Les vues magnifiques. Une vacance montane avec acces aux endroits merveilleux a la mer. Recommandons hautement. Merci aussi a Maria, l'assistante touristique dont aimablete est fortement obligeante. Presque chaque jour nous trovimes des petits cassouillets sur la table du p'tit jardin de derriere, de la part des voisins.

Das Haus in Pagoi ist weit überdurchschnittlich gut ausgestattet und wir haben dort drei sehr schöne Wochen verbracht. Das Haus besitzt neben anderem 2 Kühlschränke und zwei gut funktionierende Duschen, ein echter Luxus. Drei Terrassen bieten die Möglichkeit zu jeder Tageszeit im Schatten zu sitzen, was im Sommer sehr wichtig ist. Rundherum wohnen freundliche griechische Familien, man fühlt sich im Gegensatz zum Wohnen am schönen Badestrand Agios Georgios, tatsächlich in Griechenland. Die Umgebung bietet die Möglichkeit kleinere Gänge durch die umliegenden Olivenhaine zu machen. Statt Autos hört man jede Menge Hähne und Hunde, besonders schön war der abendliche Aufenhalt auf dem oberen Balkon, von dem aus man weit über die Berge sehen kann. Man benötigt jedoch in jedem Fall ein Auto, da der Weg in die Badebucht zu lang ist, um zu Fuß zu gehen. Die Betreuung war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können das Haus für jeden empfehlen, der gerne etwas ab vom touristischen Getriebe wohnen möchte.
