About this villa rental
Old mill of '700 to 120 square meters, part of an ancient villa overlooking the sea, the Apuan Alps and the lovely view of Lake Massaciuccoli (Torre del Lago Puccini), entirely renovated while preserving the original features and materials as evidenced by the secular beams and the old chestnut 'bricks' which were built the roof and floors.
The restoration of stone walls and the old structures with which it was produced oil will make you enjoy the taste of the past. Everything is studied in detail and accompanied by a play of lights that enhance the atmosphere.

The house is as follows:
-this ground floor there is a large room with sofa bed, where there are ancient stone structures in which the oil was produced, kitchenette, bathroom with shower, laundry room, storage room
-in the first floor there is a relaxation room, two double bedrooms, a bathroom with bath tub
Very quiet and peaceful nestled in a picturesque Tuscan landscape.
The pool area is located about 20 meters from the house, in front of the owners' villa separated from the house by a small street with no outlet used by the owners and by some families who live in the village.
The pool area with garden is enclosed by an old stone wall. From here you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the sea and Lake Massaciuccoli. The garden is decorated with roses and flowers of all kinds and herbs. It also has a space for outdoor dining with gas stove, small fridge, drinking water. In another corner of the garden there is the barbecue.
The pool deck is equipped with sun loungers, umbrellas and chairs. A solar shower allows you to have hot water. The whole area described is for the exclusive use of the guests who book Ancient Poetry.

Liebe Alessandra, lieber Pasquale,
so langsam lässt die Entspannung aus dem Urlaub nach und wir sehnen uns zurück in die Antica Poesia.
Ihr habt uns einen wunderbaren und gastfreundlichen Urlaub ermöglicht.
Trotz des nicht ganz perfekten Wetters konnten wir schöne Grill Abende feiern, den Pool mit sensationeller Aussicht von früh bis spät nutzen und uns auf den schön gestalteten Ebenen des Gartens richtig erholen.
Das Haus war bestens ausgestattet und mit viel Liebe und antiken Gegenständen dekoriert.
Wir hoffen auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen.

Ein wunderbar ruhiger Ort, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen!
Die Besitzer dieses idyllischen Anwesen sind warmherzige und sehr unkomplizierte Gastgeber, wir haben unseren Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen.
Obwohl das Wetter nicht immer mitgespielt hat, konnten wir das schöne Pool mit der traumhaften Aussicht geniessen.
Unser Geheimtipp: das selbstgemachte Olivenöl von Pasquale!
Dieser Ort ist perfekt für Ausflüge nach Pisa oder Lucca und gut gelegen für ein Ausflug ans Meer.
Uns und unseren Kindern hat es dort oben sehr gut gefallen!

Hallo Pasquale u Alessandra,
leider ging die Woche viel zu schnell vorbei.
Wir habe uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der,,antica poesia,, .
Alles war perfect,das Haus mit seinem Charme ,der Garten mit den vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten und das highlight ,, der pool".
Auch wenn es Abends schon frisch war ,haben wir so oft wie möglich draussen gegessen. Die Aussicht und diese Ruhe einfach himmlisch.
Die Bilder im Internet haben nicht zuviel versprochen. Danke das sie uns so nett empfangen haben. Ich beneide sie sehr für dieses Fleckchen Erde und was sie daraus gemacht haben.
Mehr als Empfehlenswert.

Abbiamo trascorso una splendida settimana in questo antico frantoio ristrutturato con amore e custodito con cura dagli amabili proprietari Alessandra e Pasquale: il luogo è incantevole, ancora più gradevole e confortevole di quanto le pur dettagliate e veritiere fotografie possano mostrare: ambienti ampi e ben attrezzati, all'interno e nella zona piscina non manca nulla e tutto è di prima scelta e di marca. Abbiamo apprezzato l'estrema pulizia di ogni angolo, la piacevolezza dell'arredo, la varietà delle piante del giardino, profumatissimo anche per le erbe aromatiche. La scelta di questo luogo si è rivelata vincente non solo per noi adulti, ma anche per la gestione dei bambini: ci siamo divisi le giornate tra piscina, passeggiate e puntate in spiaggia, fuori dalla confusione degli stabilimenti balneari chiassosi e i bambini si sono goduti perfino la vasca idromassaggio (in questa stagione di scarsità d'acqua abbiamo deciso di riservare a loro questo divertimento e di non approfittarne noi). Un piccolo paradiso immerso nel verde dei cipressi e degli ulivi in cui non si può non tornare. E' curioso che siano soprattutto gli stranieri a godere della bellezza di queste zone: speriamo che più italiani possano scoprirle e apprezzarle come abbiamo fatto noi. Tutto grazie ad Alessandra e Pasquale, che sono capaci di unire alla loro cortesia e disponibilità anche una grande professionalità nella cura dei loro ospiti.
