About this apartment rental
Far enough away from the noise of the city center,
50 sqm apartment recently renovated, on the first floor of a 1930s building, in a quiet road, halfway between Cascine Park and S.Movella railway station. Bed-room with large and comfortable double bed and four pillows, air conditioning, desk, wardrobe, terrace(equipped with a small table and two chairs), overlooking quiet inner gardens.
Well equipped eat-in kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, induction hob, American and capsule coffee machine, kettle, toaster ...). Separate living room with double sofa bed, smart TV ; Windowed bathroom with shower, bidet and hairdryer. Storage room with iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, coat rack, necessary for cleaning, fitness mat.
*The walls are embellished with some works by Florentine artists of the 20th century.
* Free WIFI
*Take advantage of the terrace to drink a glass of wine at sunset or to have breakfast
* Adjacent to a very good pastry shop, the best ice- cream shop in Florence, restaurants and fantastic pizzerias
* Bus stop a few steps away.
* Santa Maria Novella station, Opera House and downtown at 20 minutes walking.
* Near the city-center, without the hassle of the crowd of tourists and the noisy open-air clubs
* Supermarkets, laundries, restaurants, all kinds of shops, all within two or three hundred meters.
* The neighborhood is quiet and offers the opportunity to live as locals, not as tourists!
* For those who love sports, tennis courts and two large gyms are nearby.
* You can go jogging in the Cascine park, where you will find bicycles, skates and, in summer, the pool.
* You will be close to the famous Opera House, seat of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino
* At the airport you can take the tram that will take you 400 meters from home in 10 minutes or a taxi. If you arrive by train, at the station you can take the tram or the bus.
* In the apartment you will have many books, guides and information on Florence and its surroundings: you could take the car or a train to the nearby Rail Station and visit the other cities( Pisa, Siena, Lucca, San Gimignano etc.) or the countryside of Tuscany, which will give you great emotions.
* A notebook with useful tips will accompany you during your stay
* GARAGE-AIR CONDITIONING ON REQUEST(EXTRA)
*If there are two of you and you prefer two separate rooms, you must make an explicit request (and there will be an extra 40 euros to pay at check in)
*Upon check in, you will be asked to pay the tourist tax (6 euros per person for a maximum of 7 days).
* Check in time is flexible but after 9pm. an extra 40 euros is required
*At check-out the dishes must be well washed and in their place

We were met by the owner, Gloria, that is an absolute delight. The apartment is clean, well stocked and we loved the little balcony. We ended up talking with the residents below for a while one night. Location is walkable to city center and the grocery store.

Stayed in Florence 5 days. This is 1.2 miles to train station, and longer to most tourist attractions in city, but no hills so can walk (make sure you have a maps GPS as the streets are kind of crazy).
Very basic apt, no oven, but does have microwave.
Bathroom is very small.
Parking is available on street if you can find it.
Advertised garage is a few blocks away, and very small, so not very practical.
