Had a good week away at Mayia. The hotel was just what I expected for a 5star all inc in Greece.
Positives:
-Great staff in all sectors, very welcoming and friendly.
-Giannis the guest relations manager goes above and beyond to make your stay special.
-Great massive pool with plenty of good quality sun beds.
-Good alcoholic drinks in all bars.
-Good food and la carte food.
- Clean hotel in all locations.
- Great views of sea.
- Great private beach area with plenty of sunbeds always available.
Negatives:
- Not the best beach as it has a lot of stones (although this didn't bother me) got to be careful entering the sea as big pebbles are slippery.
- Main big Pool area understaffed although Valantis the lonely worker does an amazing job in the heat covering over 150people all day by himself.
- No beach service in 7days you have to go to the bar and get it yourself. This is not an excellence hotel. ( I didn't mind not being served but others booking this hotel might want excellence hotel service)
-Toilet paper in need of an upgrade, to cheap for a 5star.
Shout out to the following staff:
Giannis - Guest relations manager, goes above and beyond to book you la carte restaurants if you need help with bookings. Always goes above and beyond to help you with any requests and gives great recommendations.
Dimitris - Porter (friendly and positive .He really does get your holiday off to a good start)
Vasilis - Main Bar (friendly, professional and goes above and beyond to serve you or get behind the bar whilst on waiter duties to make you a requested drink to his standard as he has bar tending experience)
Frantzeska- runs the champagne bar by herself. Keeps you topped up always so you are never thirsty. Keep up the great service and smiles.
Valantis ( runs the whole main big pool area for over 150people by himself in the scorching heat. Great service and friendly vibes always)
Olga and Kostas at the main pool drink / food service always have a smile on their face and boost your mood for a great day.
David and Christos always making the best cocktails down at the bar on the ocean front. Also a big shout out to the kid from Porto Portugal making amazing food down at the sea bar.
Overall I enjoyed my stay at Mayia and id say its a relaxing quiet kind of place for couples.

Like being on a cruise for couples, all lovely but nothing to do outside. Book the Italian restaurant early. You can get fresh omelettes if you ask at breakfast. The market place shops are great for lunch. A great place to go and relax and just unwind.
