About this villa rental
The property, which consists of a house with private pool and additional two apartments with separate entrance, is situated in a quiet and peaceful 1100 m² estate, in the nice neighbourhood of the village Maslinica, surrounded with Mediterranean vegetation, secluded from noise and intrusions.
The house is newly built, surrounded by a large garden with Mediterranean trees and plants. Here you can really find the true Mediterranean.
This lovely Mediterranean villa has two floors and a large private swimming pool in front of the porch.
The house consists of four comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large newly furnished kitchen, a spacious dining area, a comfortable living room with TV and an additional lounge, a commodious terrace with sea view to the west, all surrounded by a large Mediterranean garden.
There are, also, two apartments with separate entrance.
One apartment is on the first floor, and second on the ground floor. The apartments are the same, and they consists of a comfortable bedroom with double bed, kitchen with new elements and dishes, living room with TV and additional sofa, bathroom and a large terrace. One terrace with great sea view and one with Mediterranean garden.
It's a place where you can enjoy your holidays with friends and family and still be sure that everyone will have their privacy.

Accessibility: The Island of Šolta is easily reachable from Split. Ferries go from Split 6 times a day and the ride lasts only 45 minutes. For guests that are coming without a car there are speed boats going 2 times a day and they reach Šolta in 20 minutes. For those guests we can also offer transportation to the apartment.
Split is the biggest city in the region, situated on major tourists routes. Main Croatian motorway runs to Split and in 3 to 4 hours of driving you will reach Split from western borders of Croatia. Buses, trains and ferries come to Split from all around Europe.
Accessibility by air: Airport Resnik is the only airport of the City of Split and the biggest in the region. From the airport to Split seaport, where you take the ferry or speed boat, it’s a 25-minute drive. There you take a boat to Šolta.
If necessary we can arrange for our guests transportation with speed boats from airport to the island. With this ride you could easily be at your vacation place in 30 minutes
Also, we can arrange transportation from airport to the ferry.
With the ride from the airport, a ride with a boat and a short ride on the island you could easily be at your vacation place within 2 hours of travel.

We had a wonderful time at Jeans house.Jean was so kind, met us and explained everything on arrival. The house is beautiful, very comfortable and well equipped.We were three familys with children from 6mths to 24 and all loved it!!!!

We had a fantastic 10 days in this villa which is situated in the beautiful village of Maslinica. Communication with Jean, the owner, was excellent throughout and he was always very helpful, even taking us to the big supermarket during our stay. There were 16 of us between the ages of 14 and 52. We loved the pool and outside area and made good use of the BBQ. The accommodation has everything you need and the aircon in every room was very welcome! The village is only a 5 minute walk away and we enjoyed paddle boarding and making use of the kayak that was at the villa. The beach bar and other bars and restaurants along the lovely harbour area are a must. We had a brilliant day on speedboats, travelling around the island, stopping off for swimming and snorkelling. Visiting Split for the day was easy and well worth doing. All in all, a brilliant holiday in a fantastic villa and a beautiful location.

In total we were 15 people (age 8 to 70), and used the whole house and the two apartments. This is a perfect and practical house with enough space, pool and a short distance to shops as well as the beach/sea. Our week at Sôlta got very successful and relaxing largely because of the house and it’s location.

We were a group of 14 Swedish people - kids, teenagers and adults - who stayed in Jean and his wife Sanja's beautiful house for a week. It was nothing less than a complete success.
The house is perfectly located; secluded but still within walking distance to beautiful sea spots where we took morning dips and afternoon baths, as well as restaurants and grocery shopping. We spent most of our evenings on the terrific patio, watching the sunset over the sea and barbecuing (with fresh herbs from the garden!), while the kids enjoyed the large pool.
The house is well equipped, and we didn't miss anything living our best vacation lives. Worth an extra shoutout is the air conditioners. They are all well functioning and silent, which was very appreciated by us Northerners. ;)
We've stayed in numerous nice places all over the world throughout the years, and what makes all the difference is the host. Jean is the ultimate one. His level of service mindedness is out of this world. Jean is friendly and easygoing. Always eager to help and responded quickly to our every question. He helped us with transportation (for free!), with recommendations and tips. Jean and his wife gave us a welcoming gift of nice wine, charketuries, cheeses and a homemade local delicacy. A very nice touch! But most of all they welcomed us into their beautiful villa and made us feel totally relaxed and at home. For that we are thankful.
We cannot recommend Villa Voga - Jean and his family's place - enough.
