Heracles Traditional Cretan House 2 is located in Spili, a picturesque village located at an altitude of 430 meters, 28 kilometers south – east of Rethymno, in the centre of Crete. Due to the location of the village you have the chance to explore easily the north as well as the south part of the island.
Heracles Traditional House 2 is situated on the upper floor of Heracles Traditional House 1. The two houses share the same external entrance. The house can accommodate up to 4 people and has been recently renovated with care. Its stone walls are 60 cm thick and they keep the house cool during summer and hot during winter. In the living area there is a dining table with 4 chairs, a sofa bed, which can accommodate 2 people, and a flat screen TV. The bathroom has a bathtub. The bedroom has a double bed. In the bedroom you can also find two old wooden cabinets that have been carefully maintained and are part of the architecture the old Cretan houses used to have. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances you may need such us oven, cooking rings, fridge, kettle, dish washer and washing machine. Outdoors there is another dining table and some sun beds so you can enjoy the spectacular views to the surrounding mountains.
