Meliá White House Apartments

Location was great and conveniently located by the tube station, bus stops, grocery shops, restaurants, etc. Room was spacious.

Decor and furniture was very dated. The carpets had permanent stains on them, and are long overdue to be replaced. We had family staying in the Hotel side of Melia and their rooms were way nicer, looked newly renovated & had modern furniture.

The location was good. It was a good value just a little outside of busier areas of London but super easy for transit. We liked the apartment size so we weren’t tripping over our luggage. A/C (when left alone and kept on) was nice. We enjoyed the bar and lounge. Staff in the lobby were extremely kind and assisted with luggage.

Awkward bathroom design and outdated/chipped floor. We like to keep staff out of our room during our stay and that proved difficult. Elevator system got annoying because it would only call A during certain times of the day and it created crowds.

Location & facilities.

The key to the room just does not work five times a day every day. I have to go back to the reception to get a brand new key which works only once and the next time it doesn’t work. I’m staying here for 30 days and this has happened for 30 days in a row

Location is great, bar is great, quietness of the hotel at night is great

The room provided was nothing at all like the photo's on Booking.com - in fact the difference between the photos and description and what was provided was borderline fraud - apparently no other rooms were available. They are doing renovations so so room was under constant drill attack from 08:00 to 17:00 even on Saturday morning. It was extremely poor of the hotel not to have pre warned us of this as it made the room uninhabitable during those hours. Breakfast was great BUT they have 4 coffee machines but only one was working and, with a full hotel, I will allow the reader to imagine the queue.
