About this house rental

This cozy renovated 'doll house' for 8 people is ideally located in the center of Durbuy. It is ideal for a family holiday. You can prepare your meals on the barbecue in the enclosed garden. Durbuy (200 m) is - according to experts - the smallest town in the world and has a large square with cozy terraces and restaurants. It is also fun shopping in the many small and cozy shops. For a little more action, you can go to Durbuy Adventure (5 km), where you can choose from more than 60 different activities, such as paintball, mountain biking, abseiling and climbing. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy various golf courses in the area. Also visit the La Ferme au Chêne brewery, where the famous Marckloff beer is brewed. The cosily furnished house has a well-equipped kitchen, where you can show your cooking skills to your fellow holidaymakers. You can enjoy a nice walk on the terrace. A high chair and cot are available (for a fee).

The property was great, in general well maintained and clean. The only snag was that the front door handle fell off the first day & door could no longer be used. Not a big problem as there was another door.The location is excellent. Very much appreciated the enclosed garden as we had two dogs. All in all a great stay.

Huis was gezellig ingericht, alleen jammer van de benodigdheden van keukengerei. Geen goede messen, snij planken,.. verder was alles in de keuken in orde.

Wij verbleven 4 dagen in het poppenhuis met onze zonen van 15 en 17 jaar, en onze 2 labradors. Het huis oogt gezellig maar eigenlijk was het aan een totale opfrisbeurt toe. De tuin was verwilderd, er lagen overal glasscherven op het gazon, het schaduwdoek was niet aanwezig en de bbq viel bijna uit elkaar, kortom een afknapper bij deze warme dagen. Binnen was het al niet veel beter, spinnenwebben, slecht gepoetst en ontzettend veel vliegen (en geen vliegengordijn). Achter verschillende bedden vonden we een vuil laken, een handdoek en een topje. Op een venstertablet lag een gebruikt inlegkruisje!!! Om te poetsen was er weinig gerief: geen produkten, geen dweil en een stofzuiger die met tape aan elkaar hing. In de keuken was geen aardappelmesje aanwezig, wat toch wel een noodzakelijk iets is. In de badkamer hing een buisverwarming die volledig verroest was waardoor je je handdoeken nergens kon ophangen en het er erg bouwvallig leek. Dit huis is dus niet voor herhaling vatbaar, al hadden we wel een mooie tijd in het gezellige Durbuy.
