Cabin on two levels, complete with kitchen with living room, bedroom for 3 people, bathroom with shower and a magnificent veranda with stunning views of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains!
The chalet, recently renovated with authentic taste, is on two levels. On the ground floor is the rustic kitchen, complete with everything, with large solid wood dining table, sofa, TV and wood stove. On the second floor, which is accessed via a magnificent stone staircase, there is a modern bathroom with shower, and the bedroom with a double bed and a single bed.
The heart of the living is represented by the magnificent covered veranda, equipped with all comforts. The ideal place to enjoy nature, panoramic views and outdoor dining!

Peaceful place on the top of a mountain. Be ready to climb by car a very tricky road to reach the house (around 30 min from the lake). But the panorama worthes it! The house is clean and equiped! Melissa is very nice!

This was the most beautiful and peaceful property I have ever stayed at! It was totally worth the steep drive up the mountain to get there. Melissa was a wonderful host and cares deeply for her property and guests. It was very easy to go on long walks through the mountains and the views were spectacular. I can not recommend enough and will be telling all my friends about this place.

Looking back, the stay at chalet Melissa exceeded all of our expectations. The view from the terrace is stunning and we enjoyed breakfast and dinner outside looking down on Lago di Como. Inside, the chalet was very homely and we found everything needed in the house. Even on colder days the chalet creates an pleasant atmosphere when sitting at the fireplace.
Melissas son guided us the way up to the location at top of the hills of Vercana, we were very greatful for that.
All in all it was a relaxing holiday full of great impressions in contact with nature and animals. We hope that we can visit chalet Melissa once again & thanks to Melissa and family.

Melissa was a great host, very responsive. The cottage is located on top of the hill behind Vercana so you begin by meeting at Melissa’s place in town and she escorts you up the hill the first time. The view is simply stunning. The accommodation was clean and very well equipped. Modern bathroom, comfortable bed and plenty of space.
Note that it is a windy road up the hill so bring supplies when you arrive as it takes about 20 min to get to the shops.
We also had an unfortunate incident with our hire car, Melissa and her family were amazing helpful in getting us out of trouble and continuing our journey. Fantastic people.
