About this villa rental
Splendid villa set in 12,000 m2 of land planted with hazelnuts and olive trees, with private swimming pool and wonderful views, equipped with every comfort 35 km from Rome, 25 km from Viterbo, 15 km from Lake Bracciano and 3 km from Lake Vico.
The villa is located in the municipality of Sutri, excellent location for visiting Rome, Tuscany and Umbria.
It is equipped with luxury finishes and all comforts: air conditioning, wifi, flat-screen satellite TV with Sky decoder, DVD player, Stereo CD, dishwasher, microwave oven, kettle, American coffee machine, deep fryer, toaster, washing machine , hairdryer, iron and ironing board, fitness equipment (treadmill, elliptical trainer, spin bike, stepper) and games room (ping pong and table football).
The Desdemona is spread over three floors. The two large main entrances lead directly into a single large room consisting of the living room with fireplace and the dining room. From the living room a French door leads directly to the swimming pool and a hallway leads to a bathroom on the right and a kitchen to the left which gives direct access to the swimming pool and barbecue.
Stairs lead to the first floor and the basement from the dining room.
The first floor consists of three double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and a bathroom with tub; the rooms all have fantastic views; one of the bedrooms has a terrace overlooking the valley, another bedroom leads to the outside through a stone staircase leading to the pergola and the swimming pool area.
The basement consists of a bathroom with hydromassage shower, a double room with joinable beds and a games room equipped with foosball table, stereo system and where there are fitness equipment (treadmill, elliptical trainer, stepper). In the games room there is the third independent entrance which makes the basement an independent unit.
The two main entrances are surmounted by a wooden and fabric pergola which houses the outdoor dining room and the ping-pong table.
La Desdemona is separated from the owner's villa by a tuff and wrought iron fence; while the entrances, the swimming pool and the external areas are for the exclusive use of customers.
The swimming pool is oval in shape, measuring 8 m x 4 with a constant depth of 1.20 m. The solarium area in which it is inserted is equipped with deckchairs and furnishing accessories.

We had a wonderful holiday, quality time with our family and our grandson (age 17 months) loved the pool. The villa was beautiful and cool. Our hosts were lovely and always quick to answer any of our questions they left us breakfast croissants one morning and also mozzarella which was so kind. Would highly recommend this villa we did not want to leave.

We rented the property for 10 days, 5 of which we enjoyed by the pool with all the mod cons for our teenage family. The pool was perfect on a balmy day and eating on the veranda whilst the sun was setting was idyllic.
Both Daila and Alessandro were very welcoming hosts who were more than happy to help and who keep a very clean and modern home in lovely surroundings.
Lots to see and do around Sutri and beyond from SUP on lake Bracciano to visiting ancient towns and nearby Necropolis. Rome is just over an hour away by train and a fantastic way to see Italy. We couldn’t wait to get back to the Villa and cool off in the pool though and have a game of table tennis.
We would definitely recommend the Villa.

My husband and I, with our 3 teenage children, had an amazing stay in the villa. The owners are so friendly and helpful, the facilities are fabulous and its great for both the sites and shops of Rome and the beach and lake at Bracciano. It is a little off the beaten path but so peaceful and private and after soaring temperatures in Rome we were thrilled to come home and cool off in the pool, enjoy a game of table-tennis whilst the BBQ heated up and then kick back with cable tv in the evening. Fab!
