About this apartment rental
Two-room apartment in the historic center, in the medieval walls, within walking distance of shops, attractions and typical restaurants
The accommodation
The newly renovated apartment is located on the first floor, inside the walls, in the heart of the medieval village. The décor is rustic, with terracotta flooring and chestnut beam ceiling, original 1400. The entrance is American, with kitchen-living room, with large wooden table and 6 chairs, a hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, television and radio-CD, double sofa bed, large built-in wardrobe with pots and crockery. Wi-Fi free.
The room is furnished with two single beds that can be joined, a large wall-mounted wardrobe. The bathroom has a large shower, sink, w. c. and the bidet. Bed linen is provided both single and double, as are bath towels.
From the house guests can reach by car all the interesting historical cities such as Perugia (30 min.), Orvieto (20 min), Rome (2 hours by car, but also conveniently by train from Chiusi station).
Nearby there are important thermal and seaside resorts such as Terme di Chianciano (20 min.) And Lake Trasimeno (20 min.) With its bathing beaches. The closest seaside resort is Montalto di Castro, 1 hour and 45 minutes by car. In approx. 2 hours reach Argentario.
The apartment, completely isolated from the noise and pollution of large cities, is ideal for those seeking relaxation and privacy. In addition, the location is very well linked to the most famous wine routes along which many farms produce and sell their products at competitive prices.
The house is equipped with all modern equipment to make guests stay as easy and enjoyable as possible.
Città della Pieve is a medieval village surrounded by the countryside. It's a great starting point to visit Umbria or Tuscany, while enjoying the tranquility and calm of an unspoiled environment, but with all the amenities and entertainment such as tennis, swimming pools, football, golf, discos. In August, Città della Pieve turns and returns back in time at the Palio dei Terzieri, opening the medieval taverns and re-proposing a rich set of typical dishes of the time.
In addition, the town is a cinematic film set of "Carabinieri" fiction and the apartment is 20 mt. from the "Da Gemma" Trattoria.

A fine small apartment in the middle of town . How ever we had problems of noise from building works close to and next to our building. This continued also at week ends. David Morgan
